Honestly even though I don't think Pickett is to blame for their awful performance so far today, I'd still look at going to Trubisky in the 2nd half. The reality is that this team is going to need to take some gambles to put together any sort of offensive drives and I think Pickett has been beaten into playing too conservatively at this point.

34 passing yards in a half is downright unacceptable, regardless of circumstances around it. They'll probably run the risk of turning the ball over with Trubisky's aggressive play, but you sure as hell know they're not going to win this game by playing it safe.

Has Pickett even thrown it at a target deeper than 10 yards today?

Main reason people blame Pickett is they can't bring themselves to Blame HC Cliche' , Matt Canada & Poor Little Rich Kid Fart Rooney the 2nd

It doesn't make a difference. Mitch Trubisky ends up with happy feet, getting swarmed in the pocket and/or having to scramble around. Almost like there's a common denominator

The difference would be that Trubisky is more aggressive and will be willing to make a mistake to go for a big play, when it doesn't seem like Pickett is willing to do that.

The team has absolutely ruined Pickett's confidence at this point. He's playing scared, he's playing to not turn the ball over.

The Browns are going to be 7-3 despite a huge **** up of a contract with Watson. It’s a testament to how well coached they are. Scary to think how good they could be without being hampered by that Watson contract.
