I find it downright bizarre that there are people who defend Tomlin and Canada and solely criticize Pickett. It’s like some people are living in some fantasy land.

How many QBs need to suck under Canada for Steelers fans to maybe realize that Canada is ruining them and they’re not all terrible?
All 3 of them suck. What drives me crazy is the people (I have a friend of mine who does this) who blame all of Kenny’s struggles on Canada and Canada alone

Wow Deshaun Watson is out for the year. Steelers have a massive opportunity on Sunday — not that Watson has been good but PJ walker is much worse.

Browns beat SF with PJ Walker. And they have played a pretty good amount of the season with PJ Walker. Nick Chubb chews this team up and the Browns have one of the best rush defenses in the league.

In no way is this a slam dunk, especially with KP, Canada and Tomlin. I honestly don't think this news changes the game in any way. It might even swing it more to the Browns because they will lean on Chubb and when they do that they usually win against the Steelers.

Um tough to lean on chub who just had his 2nd surgery and it was his acl. This past week
PJ Walker had 2 interceptions and 200 yards against the 49ers

Walker has 1 td and 5 interceptions this season

Pickett is actually better statistically than someone… PJ Walker - 1 TD/5 INT. But Walker also has a few gutsy 4th quarter wins. Watch him outplay Pickett anyway.

I’m more concerned about their run game. they may be missing Chubb and their top tackle, but Jerome Ford isn’t bad and he gashed both the Ravens and the Steelers last time for over 100. I would think he should be able to do that again especially with the Steelers missing their ILB’s, though the run D has been better lately.

Walker has actually looked quite competent in his duty. Would not underestimate him

Eh their defense has been good enough to keep them in most games, which will probably be the case again this week but I don’t think Walker has been particularly competent.

They got massively bailed out by the refs in both of their wins with him.

That's right. Forgot about that. Ford has looked pretty good in his place though.

The Fan just said that both their starting tackles are out as well. And Dawand Jones, the backup RT didn't play last week. Seems like it really should be a win, but it is on the road and their defense is extremely stout.

With the way the Steelers play it will still be a close game. But, whatever, just get the win.

Deshaun Watson fractured his shoulder in the second quarter of Sunday’s game vs Baltimore, per Browns’ GM Andrew Berry. How do you fracture a shoulder??

Oh yeah it’ll probably still be a close game with how good Cleveland’s defense is. Honestly, the conservative, win the turnover battle approach probably isn’t the worst strategy in a week like this.

I think it's a wise strategy against the Baltimore and Clev's of the world. Against the Bengals or Bills or Chiefs? You better score early and often, but "we do what we do"

The possible good news here is it might make them a bit more conservative about throwing it, and allow Roberts and Robinson to run downhill than in coverage.

Yea if you want to talk about silver lining with our LB's being decimated, it probably can't be a better time. Roberts and Robinson are better tacklers vs coverage guys.

I fear the rest of the season with those two out and Minkah, too. The middle of the field (teams can throw there) is a mess. When is Fitz coming back?

I was hoping that we would draft DTR as a backup plan if the KP experiment failed. I like him, erratic at times, but if he puts it all together.... and probably will against the Steelers, he can light it up.

Chubb’s been out for the year since Week 2.
