So basically the Tomlin lives in his fears excuse, cool.

You can consistently drive us down the field in the “weighty” moments, but the rest of the time don’t f*** up.

Oh and I can’t trust you to get ten yards to close out a game.

Totally how you build a young QBs confidence.

Pass the bong.
You said that was the drive that sold you on him. He literally passed 3 times on that drive. I have said he isn’t special we saw mason in 2019 in his first 5 starts have 4 multi td games.,KP has yet to have a complete game not half 160 and a td is a good half. Your job is win games not baby the qb who is missing lay ups. Remember kp needs to be what he needs to be. They literally took the ball out of his hands the 2nd half because he was struggling to make the routine plays.

That play actually made me stop watching football yesterday. Textbook tackle that also would have caused a change in possession. The "ref" literally gave NE a turnover. I see this time and time again in today's NFL, there are now 3 teams playing in each game.

Also, I have noticed a ton of very late flags being thrown. Notice that every "ref" is tied into HQ via headset. THE NFL litterally can control calls/games via a centralized location now. At some point, someone with a popular voice will make these same points and I hope that the NFL's house of cards comes crashing down on them.

Goodell is a very evil man for a multitude of reasons.

If the Steelers aren't playing, I'll have football on in the background but I don't sit down to watch it anymore. I might make an exception for the Bills since that's my best friend's favorite team.

Back in the day, my entire Sunday was an orgy of football. 1pm, 4pm then Sunday night game. If I had any free time I was playing Madden on Geneis or PS1. I knew every player on every team and most of those players' numbers (thanks to Madden)

I started to lose interest in the NFL after the Harrison hit on Massaquoi (sp). They basically said there is such thing as "hitting too hard". Don't get me wrong, I always believed deliberate helmet to helmet hits on defenseless players should be gone. But man the onus on the defense today is unrealistic. They want defenders to be in the matrix where they can contort their bodies at the last second. It's beyond silly and eventually won't look like the game I grew up with.

Yes, there's your get off my lawn moment...

They have the rest of the season to take the handcuffs off of the offense and find out what they have with KP. Tomlin really seems to coach just to back into the playoffs with 9 or 10 wins and call it a success.

That was literally the latest drive he had, so I didn't have to look back more than 5-7 minutes in real time between the winning TD drive and the final drive when Tomlin lived in his fears over ten whole yards.

So ya, the fact dude went 92 yards in the shadow of his end zone minutes before that, told me he could be trusted to gain ten yards and close out the game.

He's done that over and over again, to the point that it's not a coincidence, despite you trying to downplay it and pretend he keeps getting lucky.

It's all BS excuses for Tomlin who rambles on with his word salad stupidity, but in reality coaches like a coward and is trying to turn his QB into the same cowardly lion he is.

That's completely agt KP's nature and yep, he's never going to thrive when he's being told not to f*** up and that his coach doesn't trust him to get a first down in the fourth quarter when he has proven again and again he can get it done.

Tomlin is a coward who talks shit, but is scared of losing his winning streak, and will do anything to claw out Ws.

There is no plan for the future here, he's not building anything. He just wants to keep that petty, worthless streak alive.

Let's be real about it.

Mark is eviscerating KP again today. Love it. He just isn’t very good. What don’t you get? Look at Dobbs and CJ yesterday.

I do think he wants to keep the streak alive but I also believe he isn’t telling KP to play like shit for 3 quarters to keep it alive.

KP coming out and playing like gangbusters and throwing TDs would make the streak much easier to happen.

Of course Tomlin isn't telling him that- that's hyperbole

But it would not surprise me 1 bit if KP wasn't hearing from Canada/Tomlin "No turnovers. Make sure your throws are safe. We'll keep this game close"

Then when it's inevitably close in the 4th qtr they start releasing the reigns for KP. Sometimes he comes through and other times not.

The fact we saw this SAME offense from a HOF QB is all the proof you need that this is their approach

It's not a lie if you believe it enough!
Kenny did all the softball interviews, like the Pat McAfee show. He would never actually get asked a difficult question in an interview. And if he was approached to do on an interview where he might get one, he’d run far, far, away.

Nah, it’s nothing but a childish grudge because KP told him no.

Madden sucks up to athletes on his show and is a massive brown noser with them - it’s almost embarrassing actually.

Let’s not pretend like he would be grilling KP.

He acts like a tough guy with his callers though because he can hang up on them, then pretends he is tight with the athletes who call.

You can literally feel Crosby rolling his eyes when Madden interviews him.

Well stated. Madden is a blow hard to the nth degree. He was a media/attention whore well before the Kardashians made it en vogue.

I just laugh at "Rossi Rat's" posts because you can tell it's Madden himself. He doesn't even attempt to hide the same syntax as his articles.

What kind of "hardball" questions would Madden even come up with in a Pickett interview? He has basically no in-depth knowledge for football systems or QB fundamentals, any question he'd ask would basically come down to "why do you suck?" or "why did you screw up on this play?".

He does have some technical hockey knowledge, but his football (and baseball, for that matter) knowledge is completely absent. The "hardball questions" would just be drunken yinzer questions asking "why aren't you better?".

This isn't just Madden, it's pretty much sports talk radio at this point. People who actually understand the technical/fundamentals on sports don't get clicks. I really like Ben on podcasts because of this, he clearly has a deep understanding of the game and can actually give legitimate criticism/praise on a player.

MT basically alluded to this when he was starting that they kept pounding in his head to play low risk ball and not lose the game… that he can’t put the D in bad spots and they would win the game robble robble.

This is Tomlin’s mantra so he can keep his lame ass streak alive.

He’s not invested in implementing a modern day offense because it would be risky and cost them games while the offense learns it’s way and grows.

Canada flat out told us this is what Tomlin wants.

I go back and forth if it’s him, but I know he did post on an old Pens forum back in the day until he got banned.

If it’s not him then it is creep AF.

Wasn't there a clip of Madden playing dek hockey eons ago? Man that was pure comedic gold the way he waddled around out there

I never played dek hockey, was too busy with ice and roller, but I did have friends who played and Madden coached them in his tournaments.

Most had good things to say about him, but all of them gave me the impression his radio skit is an act and he’s pretty meek in person.

So I'm not a huge CFB follower and have no allegience since my alma mater sucks in every sport, but will casually watch when 2 ranked teams go at it on Saturdays.
Being in the middle of OSU country, I find myself rooting AGAINST the Bucks. But man this UM sign stealing thing has me irked.

I don't believe the players had any knowledge, but Harbaugh's smugness really annoys me. This is the Pats Spygate all over again.
