Don't worry, guys! Devin Bush has nothing to prove.
Yeah, Devin Bush really seems to have the wrong mentality. You'd expect a guy in his position to be motivated to want to improve but instead he seems content and that's alarming. He talks like he's at the end of some hall of fame career and there's nothing left to prove. It just comes off delusional.

I've heard him say that he didn't have confidence in his knee last year but he does now so we'll see.

I think it is readily apparent that he has been entitled by his father, who played in the NFL, to think that his shit doesn't stink. And the fact that his father went on the radio last year and stated his son was playing fine and that people should back off of him is example number one.

I think people should stop pretending to be armchair psychologists.

Same. I thought I heard him own it a little bit, blamed it on not being able to train appropriately and his knee confidence.

He was good for 2/3 years. I’m willing to see if he’ll rebound this year. I was pumped when we moved up to get him in the first place.

lolBrowns signing that dbag with all that guaranteed money lmao

If he doesn’t get a lengthy suspension, league is going to have a PR nightmare on their hands.

I’m not going to try and judge the dude, but why not just hire escorts if it’s true and he was looking for sex?

Like the one witness who didn’t press charges claims she told him “you are going to ruin everything doing this”.

Gotta be a mental midget or something, again, if true.

Because some people just think they won’t ever get caught or if they do get caught they won’t get punished

I dunno about that. Like it's not even about whether you get caught, it's just simpler to ring up a hooker. Feels like if you're going to call up every damn masseuse in the Houston area instead, that's a whole cocktail of possible issues. Dude's clearly got some demons up there but if he doesn't want to get help you worry about the people who have to deal with his mess.

I suppose but you have to be extra special kind of stupid.

I know a couple guys who do well, but not in the same universe as Watson and they use escorts all the time.

One guy is a fireman actually - so decent money but not wealthy.

It just makes no sense to me, but I guess you can’t cure stupid (if he is guilty).

So Ben got like 8 games and it was reduced to 4 after appeal. Watson has 10x the accusations against him as Ben did.

I’ll be annoyed if he isn’t suspended for the season at a minimum.

And make the fine a years worth of his contract not the $1MM he is supposed to get this coming season.

I am curious if the Steelers would have big enough balls to trade Diontae Johnson if Pickens and Austin come in and produce. Because I think we could get two 2nd's for Johnson, which would help the cause a great deal.

If Hollywood brown gets 1st back DJ is worth a 1st. I think they let him play out this season and tag him next year though I think if they offered him 5/90 today he sign.

Yep I think they go the Trevor Bauer route commissioner list this season he still gets paid but can’t play than suspension for 23 after the cases are over

I'm interested to see what kind of season he has with a QB that can push the ball downfield. I also don't think this team should sign any WR for big money because they have been so good at finding them in the draft.

If we could get picks for Johnson, I think that would help the cause more than he would.

I'm dubious as to how many teams out there want to spend big on a WR trade wise this season. Feels like most of the teams looking to do that have done it.

Not that I think the Steelers are interested in doing this.

I think they have to try to re-sign Johnson to a longer term deal. He’s just such an amazing route runner and he did clean up a lot of his drop issues last year. His ability to get open is going to be so valuable when it comes to developing a younger QB.

And the cap is likely going to substantially increase these next couple of years. So 18-20 million may seem like a lot now, but could be a steal in 2-3 years.

This is a good point. A lot of the teams going nuts for WRs are trying to provide the best possible support to their young QB. Well, we've got a young QB, why wouldn't we do that ourselves? The likelihood of Pickes/Austin/Claypool taking off so quickly that Johnson is just kinda superfluous seems super low.
