No way to know where guys are going to get drafted once the draft gets late in t he first round, but I like Ridder in round 2 better than Willis in round 1. Like I said, no way to assure you can draft Ridder if you pass on Willis, but...

Yeah Willis is just such a risk. I’m on the Pickett bandwagon. A system that plays to Trubisky’s strengths will play to Pickett’s so it’s a good situation.

The same goes for Ridder as well. Pittsburgh would be a good situation for him.

Because Ben had how many GW drives this past year, 4?
So yea he was our best player on offense (which isn't saying much, but it doesn't change my posit).
His GW drives lol. The TJ should get create for 2 of them himself the break up of the Lamar pass to Andrew and the strip sack in ot against Seattle. The Tennessee game where the defense got 4 turnovers and Ben got 12 points off them GW drive or the blocked punt against the bills GW dr. Or the taking the lead 15-10 over Cleveland with 11 minutes to go and holding on GW drive.

Colbert said he’s adding 2 QBs. Does this mean we draft one early to sit behind Trubisky for a year? Could see Rudolph cut just like Landry Jones was.

If you want the league to add GW drives for defenders, start a petition.
We get it, you hate Ben. Your schtick is tiresome

I don't know how I feel about this.

My Buffalo buddy said he played great every time he touched the ball this year.
If they can get Pickett too I would be happy with the stop loss of Trubisky for the next 2 years.

We shall see, 9-8 season here we come.

Ridder is ass. Stay away please

They should stay away from ANY QB in this class- they all will be over drafted relative to their value
If you want to take a 5th round flyer, then whatever. But your first 4 picks better address the Oline and Dline

The Steelers drafting Pickett and then cutting Rudolph would make me aroused, so I hope they do that

I don't like Rudolph, but I hate him less than Haskins.
So I'd be fine with him as the backup. Methinks he'll replace Mitch for a spell due to either ineffectiveness or injury

I think I'd rather just go completely clean house with the QB position all together and move on from all of Ben, Rudolph and Haskins.

Trubisky, Pickett and Dobbs for next year looks good enough to me. If it was another rookie QB outside of Pickett, I'd be a bit more concerned with that depth, but Pickett seems pretty pro-ready and should be fine as a backup.

100% I don't want Rudolph anywhere near this team, couldn't even beat the Lions.

I am on the Trubisky/Pickett bandwagon as well.

I don't think Dobbs is ever going to (or wants to) see the field. He's the quasi QB coach/4th camp arm.

So your plan to me is a no go from the start since you don't want to have your top 3 guys who have never been in your system before.

I just don't see them cutting Rudolph. So the 3rd position is between Haskins and the draftee

I don’t hate Ben I think people make way to many excuses for him he hasn’t been a top 10 QB in 3 years but congratulations to him on his 1st ballot hall of fame career

They don't need to draft a QB now. Go OL and DL r1 and r2
Do not wait for the draft sign a vet G before hand. They need a vet leader not a washed up trai turner give me Daniels from the bears and draft Zion in round 1 if no CB fall and Jones in round 2 from uccon

Trubisky is not bad but he’s limited from a ‘read the defense’ standpoint. I think his pluses align with the kinds of things Canada what’s to do. I had thought for a while that he’s be an ok add but in recent weeks had talked myself into the idea that Mason was here, learning the ropes and doing it right, they should give him a chance. I suppose he could still beat out Mitch?

Trubisky is Mason with maybe less deep ball accuracy. But explosive athleticism and mobility. I'd be very surprised if Mitch doesn't beat out Mason.

The resident Tomlin defender thinks there are too many excuses made for someone?
Excuse me while I wipe my computer screen off. It's dripping with irony

Trubisky/Rudolph/Haskins in the least interesting QB battle in league history.
