Fair enough. I go back and forth in him. Some people like Strong too.

I liked Trask last year so I don’t put much stock in my personal opinion other than it’s mine.

I liked Trask as well. Rumors are the Bucs aren't down on him at all, but time will tell how he pans out. Arians and having Brady there for a year was definitely a good situation

Saying you'd be happy to draft + making a point about the importance of a big space eater at NT = you making the case for Davis. Why do I have to spell out your own damn argument back to you

Penning first round, Phidarian Mathis second round.

Jordan Davis is a two-down NT. You don't use a first on a guy like that, IMO.

NT is not a position you really need a star level player, just a guy who eats the middle and lets the guys around him make plays. Mathis can give you that on all three downs. plus bonus pass rush (had 9 sacks last year for Bama). Physically he's an ideal DL. Long and wide bodied. Has some technique things to work out but nothing uncoachable.

There have been a few articles referencing this thought that Davis is only a 2 down nose. His snaps were limited at Georgia, but from things I have read, that was by design and not necessity. That defense was loaded...they could afford to keep him off of the field to stay fresh.

Travis Jones is also a guy we should be keeping our eye on in the 2nd round.

Drafting Davis at 20 is not over drafting him. Pretty much every draft expert has him going from mid teens to mid 20s in the first round.
No no no. KesselMania doesn't like him. Therefore it's over drafting him. He's right. You're wrong and stupid.

Brugler's latest mock has us taking OG Zion Johnson with Corral as a second round pick.

OG in the first round that’s a bold move, Cotton

They should have went Creed in Rd 1 last year. You could have traded down and gotten him along with some extra picks. Muth would have been there with that extra ammo. Then a RB later on would have done just as well behind this terrible line.
Taking a RB in R1 is beyond dumb unless you know the guy is Barry Sanders.

Now it's finally smacked them in the head that they need both lines rebuilt quickly

Which is why they should sign at least one good G in the 8-10 million dollar range before the draft

I wonder what happens to Jordan Love now. It seems like he kind of sucks but I can’t see the Packers keeping him after giving Rodgers another 4 years.

Last off-season was a complete clusterf***. Having one foot in a rebuild and one foot into trying to create a last hurrah for Ben was never going to work

That pick looks worse now then it did when they made it (and it was pretty a bad call at the time to begin with.) Just an awful, awful decision
