We are currently sitting 18th in draft order. I still have no idea how we won a game outside of Buffalo.

Lots of luck early in the season agt backup QBS. Without that fortune, likely sitting with 2-3 more losses.

18th slot is great - for running on the hamster wheel.

Yinzers got their hollow, meaningless victory and their instant gratification yesterday so woot.

I’m sure it will all lead to a resounding Tomlin playoff V and him never having a losing season!

i don’t think the final score will be like the Steelers-Bengals game, but I do think Minn will pull it out…they’ve lost too many in the last minute of games…that bad luck can’t hold out forever
Accept they are riddled with injuries Adam and Cook will not play Thursday they have no secondary

Only real positive is the league seems to be figuring out Jackson - he has been garbage last 5-6 games.

Think he's up to 10-11 INT in that time.

He's taking that Mike Vick path it would seem.

Every time I watch a ratbirds game and the announcers wax poetic about how Jackson is a weapon unlike the league has ever seen, I think I must have hallucinated the Kordell and Vick years of my NFL viewing life.

I'm glad someone else is living the same hallucination.

I'm still celebrating a win over those rat turds.
but, I haven't seen this mentioned.

at the end of the first half, which baltimore dominated in time of possession 23 vs. 7 mins, why was tomlin calling timeouts as the ravens were running out the clock?

to have his tired defense play 2 more meaningful snaps?

I find how jacked up Gardiner Minshew gets after a win to be contagious. Dude gets a W for an awful team and you would have thought he won the Super Bowl. I think he'd be a great stop gap here while we figure out what is going to happen after Ben, and I actually think a team could win with him at QB if the rest of the team was decent.

What's awesome about that is not only does he look like White Goodwin of Dodge Ball but acts like him too

Cunningham is another guy cut from the same cloth.

People lose their minds and act like the league has never seen a run first QB - but I have yet to see one of these guys dominate the league long term.

They ultimately get figured out and then either fade away or become nothing more than a decent starter.

I’m not sure how it will end for Jackson, as he has some talent as a thrower IMHO, but if I was a Ravens fan this 6-7 game stretch would have me concerned.

When Tomlin has your favorite QB figured out, that’s gotta be extremely worrisome as a fan.

Watt has a good chance to break the NFL single season sack record at 22.5.

There will be an interesting conundrum if he does it in game 17, but he’s also missed a game and I think MS set his record in 16 games.

His buddy Brett gave him that final sack anyway so, lots of interesting banter could be had.

It takes 15 years for a blind squirl to find a nut. This sounds about right.

He’s figured Jackson out like no other coach around the league.

I have to give him his dues on that.

Its hard to give word to how great watt has been. Think of all the sack artists this team has had over the years.

and he just broke the team record in 10 games played. Pacing for 24 sacks over a 16 game schedule.

It would be something if he got the record.

He needs to avg 1.5 sacks per game the rest of the way and he will break the tainted record and give it real legitimacy.

If the dude wasn’t as elusive as he is, he wouldn’t even be starting. His reads are awful and he should have been sacked 10+ times but he got out of a few. I get he’s basically a other RB and a very good weapon, but as an actual QB he’s not very good.

I said a couple years back that the league would catch up with him if he doesn’t develop more as a passer - so nothing I have seen from him changes my mind.

I think he is is going to have a Mike Vick type career, maybe with a little more success.

Harbaugh has been a huge blessing for him and dude should be waking up every day and thanking his lucky stars he ended up there.

Very few coaches would have bent over backwards like Harbaugh did to accommodate his skills and mask his weaknesses.

I suspect if Jackson went to about 25+ other teams, he would be struggling.

Steelers Might Have Found Gem In Montravius Adams, Says Tomlin - Steelers Depot

I have been asking for the Steelers FO to make these same type of moves for years.

My theory; certain teams are great at spotting talent at certain positions. When they are at peak capacity, take a look at their practice squads to see if they are stashing talent for future needs; Especially in areas of extreme weakness for your roster.

Another guy they should maybe take a look at, Cowboys Braylon Jones at Center

High draft picks don't matter. As a Steelers fan you should know this better than anyone.

The likelihood of finding a practice squad gem is miniscule. It says something bad about your scouting department if feel there are practice squaders elsewhere that could start for you or at least crack first backup.
