Saw the Hamlin thing live with the wife. She immediately thought it was the hit. Similar to how some little leaguers will get hit with a baseball in the chest and just drop.

Cardiac episodes from chest trauma happens in sports. It happened to Pronger and it happens to baseball players who get hit with line drives. It's rare, but it happens. I was just giving some of the most famous examples. Didn't want to have to dig up links to little league players or my friend's son from like 4 years ago.

This shit started last night almost immediately after it happened and it aggravates the shit out of me. f***ing idiots that never paid attention to anything before 2020 and have the medical knowledge of playing "Operation".

I did beat my daughter and couple more 12 year olds all by myself at hockey yesterday so maybe my freak skills are starting to erupt…

I'm impressed you got through all of the posts licking Elon Musk's taint. For the brief time I had twitter after he took over, my feed got flooded with those even though I have never followed or searched for anything related to that jagoff. I had twitter for 100% sports news but it isn't worth it anymore. I'll get my news from here. So I'm counting on you all.

I’m a gifted scanner, been on HFboards since before Twitter was a thing, so I perfected my craft on here.

Last night was so far over the top with the anti-vaxers even my all pro scanning skills couldn’t deal with that level of stupidity.

Honestly glad they postponed. No way the players could've continued.

It does raise some question as to how they replay a game? Maybe they push the playoffs back a week. Otherwise they're hamstringing both teams on short rest before the playoffs.

i remember that when my son was 12 ........ but i needed him to help me take off my skates.

This was the first time I remember thinking “these kids are getting really fast”.

Like a bunch of water bugs on skates that won’t go away.

I guess we'll see but I feel like it's not fair to the 2 teams that won/earned the bye week and everyone gets a bye because they are going to hold the playoffs a week for this game.

Except if Buffalo and Cincinnati both win this week Cincinnati would have a shot at home field by beating Buffalo they already beat Kc so a 3 way tie at 13/4 if kc loses to Vegas is possible

It's an unprecedented situation so I don't really know what they will do. I can see the NFL telling both teams they have to play since they refused to continue the game.

My point was that this has been happening for a long time, even before the covid vaccines.

It's cool that people learned a new word in myocarditis, but when they don't understand it one bit it just makes them look really really really stupid to keep using it in a sentence.
