Rushing Yards Allowed: 7
Rushing TDs Allowed: 3
YPC Allowed: 5

So run defense has completely turned things around this year. Passing defense completely sucks on a league where teams love to throw. I really expected guys like Witherspoon and Wallace to be solid but both have been massive disappointments.

Yeah i would remember when he was the Qb coach Flores was interested in hiring him to develop Tua. His scheme is RPo motion based used in 90 percent of the nfl and college its nothing special.

This is an RPo one read half the field offense if With guy wide open the only thing they could do to make it simpler is tell KP regardless of the read if GP or DJ have one one one they are progressions 1

You need apt coaching to run an effective RPO offense.

Not only are defenses dialed in to what the Steelers are doing when they run RPO, they lead the league in illegal man down field penalties when they do run it.

Happened again yesterday and killed the drive.

An intelligent and savvy coaching staff would be using more traditional play action concepts, but Canada and Tomlin love to keep doing stupid.

More jet sweeps! More RPO!

Who cares if we are ineffective at it!

Good luck with the HS offense Kenny.

"Just settling down," Pratt told CBS Sports when asked about the difference between halves. "It was us giving them plays. We knew what they were going to do. They like to do the same plays over and over."

I have faith in Andy Weidl currently, but man is this draft really important for this team. There are guys in this draft that we need. I think we need one of Paris Johnson/Peter Skoronski/Broderick Jones. We also need Saiki Ika.

Bears lost again yesterday, so there is a nice positive.

Well, Steelers losing is an even bigger positive, but we are suppose to pretend they are making the playoffs or something.

People like to point at how easy our schedule is and how many wins we may have - this year we are one of those cupcake teams that opponents lick their chops for.

I’ve been doing that and suspect they will rack up some wins when they play the dregs of the league, but I had the Cincy game as an easy loss.

I felt 4-4 was realistic if things went their way, which based on last season would put them around pick 9-12.

Ideal spot to grab a potential pro bowl LT.

Which is why they seriously need to think about using one of the early picks on CB. I know I know.....they suck at picking CBs. but they can't just ignore the position.

Its all Picketts fault he alone can't keep the No losing seasons alive. Or something something.

I completely agree with you. I think OT/CB are in a tier of their own when it comes to needs. I’d be totally fine with either with their first.

The sucking at drafting CBs is a bit overblown in my opinion. It could be better, but they’ve only drafted two in the first two rounds in the past twenty years or something crazy like that. Eventually you have to start taking them early to find success.

They have to go what… 6-1 now or we will never have to hear that BS again?

The hyperbole is comical.

KP is like 7 games into his career and he will need upwards of 40-45 games before we know who he is.

I remember when Mayfield set the rookie record for passing TDs and people told me Steelers were screwed and this new stud was going to own the division.

I maintained it didn’t mean much and we would need a few years to see who he was.

Bah! He’s on his way to greatness stfu!

Even had a poster on this very board spew nonsense to me how the Browns were the new model franchise in the AFC north.

Let’s ffwd a few years… oh, Browns are battling Steelers for last place - dope.

Mayfield? He’s toiling along in Carolina where fans are screaming for him to get benched for… Sam Darnold.

Tomlin nation is really gonna lose it when he hits the 9 loss mark. Itll be like Vancouver after a SC final.

Leave Kenny alone you bastards!

Pass defense has been terrible here for years. Any decent QB can carve this team up. I understand this is a passing league and no one shuts a decent offense down, but we are so undertalented in the secondary. It is probably the main reason why I never bought into the "Tomlin has underachieved with great rosters" thing. Our roster in the secondary, which can ruin your team, usually sucks. The issue is Tomlin's hand in putting it together.

Only exception was when we had Nelson, Haden and Minkah together.

Curious if they’d use one of their second rounders to reunite Pickett and Addison

Maybe try to trade D Johnson for a 2nd and grab Addison then. I think it would be nice to bring in some one whom Pickett is familiar with but I wouldn't use the current pick for a WR. So many holes with only 5 picks.

i think it's more like we draft good cb but then we coach all the good out of them. so we need to get guy's that learned their craft somewhere else so we can't mess them up.

Addison would be awesome but unless they use their first or package both seconds to move up into the first, I don’t think they have a shot at him.

I definitely think LT is the direction we head in. Things line up perfectly right now for that also, but as we know, combine and pro days can change everything. And even if we don't grab a LT in the 1st round, top of the 2nd will have some good ones also. Bergeron from Syracuse is a guy I really like. He'd be an awesome RT.

The real fear that I have is that the Steelers front office continue to build around this nonsense that Canada has sold them. Right now, Quinn Meinerz is one of the top ranked guards in the league, and we passed on him because Kendrick Green was more mobile.

They need to abandon this plan and move in a different direction.

As of now they’d pick 8th, 34th, and 39th. If they could add a third 2nd round pick by moving Sir Drops A Lot that’d be great

We just paid him, but I agree. If we were able to get a 2nd for Claypool, we should be able to get something better for Johnson. And though I think JuJu signs long term in KC, I think he's the perfect possession type WR across from Pickens.

Addison is going to be a 1st rounder, I think. Top 20, I'd bet.
