Those of us that hate the Clown over the years haven't melt down because of him securing his record, we've already been through it time and time again anyway, it's merely just...:eyeroll: at this point. Nothing last forever, so...

On the other hand, I think the yinzers ITT and yinzers all over might meltdown when loss 9 hits the record books.

No because it’s finally a rebuild and even the great Sean Peyton had a few with Brees and Carrol had a few. Hairball has some

The idea of rebuild is great.. but when you have a below average head coach and worse than horrible staff that cant develop young talent into NFL quality then there isnt much to look forward to.

The only hope is for Rooney Tunes to get his head out of the sand.

My other team (Tampa) is facing a rebuild next year. 40 million over the cap next year, that does not count the pending Free Agents we are losing in the off-season. So.. This year is the last run in Tampa.

Even at that and as a fan of both teams, I'm more optimistic of a Bucs rebuild than the Steelers. Even though The Bucs currently dont have a QB of the future (There is Trask but hes not it).

So you have more faith in a team that was not on the nfl map before Brady showed up then an an organization that has been successful and actually has plan.
Bowles and Batch will probably be fired in the next 2 years

They have developed tons of young talent it’s unsure if they can develop a young Qb I will give you that

Well I live in Florida now and I'm not coming back north so I'm hooked.

Bowles is a great coach. But they probably will clean house (will have to) including the Staff when the rebuild starts. I'm arguing to keep Bowles for 1 more year if they can figure a way to remain competitive for 1 more year.

Edit: You can't say the Bucs were never on the map before Brady when in 00's you had Warren Sapp, Derek Brooks, Ronde Barber, John Lynch, Simeon Rice, Hardy Nickerson (former Steeler) and on offense Mike Alstott, Keyshawn Johnson.

You can argue Mike Evans and Chris Godwin will be on that all time list as well on offense. When they produced before Brady. Evans going down as the greatest Buc receiver of all time.

Im skeptical of the Steelers rebuild because where they need change the most (the HC) they won't do it. The Steelers need a new voice to go along with a long term plan that a new HC can carry out during a rebuild.

A top ten pick would be sweet, but I just don’t see it happening between Watt coming back and the schedule. There are just so many other bad teams.

I think 11-15 is where they end up. It’s too early to know where guys are going to go in the draft, but right now it seems like the best player available in that range will also meet the needs of the team. That seems as of now to be where the Tackles and CBs are projected.

Yeah, we should have pick of the litter when it comes to tackles if we are at 11-15.

Anyone else think that this guy sounds like Mike Tomlin? I think they are going to fall in love with him.

Need to go LT if not in top 5 this draft.

Don’t agree on WR because of the market rate that position commands cap wise, and the scarcity of good receivers. These guys are valued and there is none in FA. Look what Claypool got in a trade. Adams and Hill commanded massive returns even though the acquirer had to pay them big contracts on top of the trade cost.

RB for sure. Even if you hit I don’t want to hand a huge second contract to that position when I can RBBC effectively with 3 league min guys.

The Steelers have consistently shown they can find wide receivers in the draft in later rounds. They have significant holes in the trenches which are very apparent & are hindering Pickett's development.

Call me crazy but that tweet by Josina Anderson is just a bunch of nonsense.

There are these mysterious people behind the scenes discussing if any of the longest tenured coaches could step down over the course of the next couple years. Like what?

That could be me, Gurglesons and Jiggyfly just having a conversation on here.......

Andrew Filipponi, Josina Anderson, and Aditi are like the holy trinity of bad rumors.

I was surprised Chicago wanted Claypool. I think it may have been just as much about preventing Green Bay from getting him.

I'm also not sure Chicago is a great fit for Claypool. We won't really know until he learns the offense and settles in. He has a better QB there than he did here but Justin Fields is such a run heavy QB. He reminds me a lot of Lamar Jackson in that sense. Fields' a great player in his own unique way but maybe not the most WR friendly QB due to playing style. I think Claypool would have done way better playing with a passing QB like Rodgers in Green Bay.

Regardless, I think the Steelers did great getting a 2nd for Claypool.
