So you wouldn’t pay a 2nd for TJ Watt or BigBen or Troy or AB or DeCastro or Cam Heyward or Minkah or Pickens or Timmons or etc.

What a ridiculous statement.

What's ridiculous is you're comparing those players to Claypool. I guess I should have been more clear in my post, however I think most of the players you mention probably have better careers elsewhere.

Juju had lost a step and had a bunch of injuries. He was also a gloried TE in Canada's offense.
Happy for him he's found an actual coach and surrounding cast that can use his talents.
If JuJu lost a step, then how's he beating his man in KC?

In Pitt he seemed like he did. It appeared he was the beneficiary of AB drawing the doubles as he couldn't arise to WR1 status like everyone had hoped. Plus again, he was injured his past couple years.

In KC he's in an offense where Kelce gets a ton of attention.

I miss JuJu : (
He's going to have 90-100 catches for 1000+ yards. I would have taken him over DJ 10/10 times.

JuJu with Pickens would have been a great duo.

I was being facetious. I assume KC has an offense that actually uses scheme instead of just "beating your man".

The Steelers have caught up to modern times to an extent by dumping Claypool or acquiring Fitzpatrick. I had some hope that they would finally fire a coach in season.

All you would need is a QB.

Going to be waiting another 25 years for that.

Rooney Tunes would never. When was the last time he spoke anyway? The "We gotta run the ball" 2 years ago like it's 1992..With no OL or a competent substitute RB by committee to assist the main RB.

They could use Warren more. He always looks better than Harris. I don’t think Rooney is calling Tomlin or Canada to tell them they are only allowed to use him for 5 rushes per game.

Rooney is obviously at fault for keeping Tomlin all these years.

Luck retiring really messed up the Colts. They’re a good example of what not to do when trying to find a QB though.

Wow they’re hiring Jeff Saturday as interim coach who has almost 0 experience coaching at any level. Would love to see the reaction if the Steelers did something like that.

Yea, one example out of many that a QB taking a ton of hits young rarely works out well. Which is why it's stupid IMO to even think about the QB position until you have a solid line in front of them.

They did though, in 07. Clown had only had 1 year in as a DC. Not enough time in my opinion to learn/ progress. So it's much the same except he wasn't hired as an interim.

It really isn’t though. Tomlin had 10+ years coaching at the college and NFL level. Saturday is a TV personality who coached high school football.

It seems like the Colts are just committed to the tank.

I mean one guy coaches high school football and the other coaches in the nfl before he was hired. The Texans did the same thing with hassleback but it the league said no

Fair enough I guess but I think it depends on your definition of experience. Canada, Urben Meyer, Steve Spurrior(sp) had tons of years experience in college that didn't translate in the NFL.

I'm not arguing that Saturday needs to.. Idk start as a OL coach and work his way up. Tomlin was on the right track at least (DB coach then DC) but was hired way too soon imo.

So ,what you are saying is that the Colts should have taken an offensive lineman instead of Luck? Disagree completely.

Well, I should have prefaced that with unless it's some can't miss prospect. What I'm getting at is the Steelers should have drafted an offensive lineman instead of Kenneth Pickett. Who knows, they may have got him in the 2nd or 3rd round still.
