Pirates and Phillies are being audited.

Bucs Dugout: Pirates, Phillies could face audit for stadium rental payments.

Why would you not want Tomlin gone???

We wasted the last decade with this fraud.
Because if he actually had assistants, his "rah-rah" style would be just fine. The issue is he tries to X's and O's way more than he should. Give him two good coordinators, he'd be fine. Just limit the amount of power he has to remove duties and assign them to himself.

He is the one that hires all of these idiot assistants. He’s touted as some great defensive mind, but our defense is horrendous. Over the last 12 years, our three playoff wins came against two back up quarterbacks and Alex Smith.

Let him dress up at steely mcbeam if you want rah rah.

This thing with him being a motivator is extremely overrated. And him being a horrible at x and o proves that he shouldn't be a HC.

Let's be real...

"This was Tomlin's first losing season, which was due in large part to an early season injury to superstar DPOY TJ Watt, and the struggles of rookie QB Kenny Pickett. Mike Tomlin is, if anything, a master motivator who will right this ship sooner than later"

It would take a minimum of 2-3 more seasons like this before his seat even got warm. Then another season on the hot seat.

He's no going anywhere anytime soon, unless he walks away.

Only a fool would walk away from the best job imaginable - ridiculous pay, zero accountability, and your results don't really matter because of some perceived faux greatness bestowed upon you... because you did something a dozen years ago.

When things go wrong, just act indignant and spew out cliches like "put a cap on it" and "we don't run away from that".

Would you walk from the perfect gig like that?
You and I have been on the same page for years when it came to Tomlin and how bad it would get post Ben. The hope was always Tomlin would walk away when Ben couldn’t carry him anymore.

We’re exactly where I figured we’d be. I’ll still watch but expectations have drastically changed for me, as expected. We’ve reached the waiting for Tomlin to walk, stage.

I don’t think Steeler fans quite understand the situation here.

I’ve explained this before, but Canada was hired as a favor by Tomlin, because Canada gave Tomlin’s son Dino, a scholarship when he was coaching at Maryland.

This is how a guy with no NFL experience becomes their OC within two years.

I didn’t think Tomlin would have the balls to take his cronyism this far with Canada, but this is the shit he’s allowed to get away with because AR2 allows it.

It really is astounding when you step back and look at it all.
Wow

wow a 3 star athlete got a division one scholarship from a temporary fill in head coach. Dino went to Maryland when no one wanted to to and had other scholarships offers. You do know the mccvay was impressed with Canada work in northern Illinois and spent time learning his offense. You know Brian Flores while at Miami considered hiring Canada.

You do know Tomlin’s son got a scholarship from Canada?

You do know that same guy who was woefully under qualified got hired by Tomlin to run his NFL offense?

You do know that same guy running the offense still has a job when no other OC would have survived 26 games of all time franchise ineptness on offense?

You do know Tomlin is well known for hiring his cronies.

You do know only Tomlin under AR2 could survive this kind of ineptness for ten years and franchise playoff ineptness.

You do know only Tomlin is afforded the luxury of keeping around a crony for 26 games of all time franchise offensive futility.

You do know only Tomlin would be stupid and emboldened enough to keep his crony around this long because he did his kid a solid.

Steelers brought Canada's whole crew with him.

Ya I wrote about this awhile back. All because Canada gave his kid a scholarship.

Anyone who is in denial about that, needs to wake up.

This is one of the big reasons why I keep harping on the fact that Tomlin needs to have a lot of his power stripped away if this org ever wants to be what it once was.

It’s been quite clear for years Tomlin is not the genius, legendary coach people are fooled into believing.

His dirty secret is that he had a HOF QB and the most patient, scaredy squirrel owner in the league behind him - nothing more.

Tomlin probably heard about North Carolina winning a national championship back in the day.

Too bad it was the other NC school. And actually in basketball.

It might be OT, but I would love to get a reply here.

I just ordered that jersey: Men's Pittsburgh Penguins adidas Black Home Primegreen Authentic Pro Custom Jersey

custom with my name on it.

I also wanted to get a away jersey with my name on it, but the only one I could find was: Men's Pittsburgh Penguins adidas White Authentic Custom Jersey

but that white jersey is from 2017 if I'm not completly wrong, because of that adidas patch.

The new jsersey is also called "primegreen". I think that the new one has also a morge orange "gold" than the previous jersey.

So my question is: is it really impossible to buy the away jersey with the own name on it? If there's a serious shop selling those, please send me a link.

Question 2: Is that yellow different from the "primegreen" one?

I was so frustrated that I just bought the white one with #87 Men's Pittsburgh Penguins Sidney Crosby adidas White Away Captain Patch Primegreen Authentic Pro Player Jersey but maybe I would return that if I could get the one with my name on it.

Thanks so much!!!!

If Jalen Carter is available when the steelers pick, they should grab him
If Jalen Carter is available when the Steelers pick they would be absolutely stupid not to grab him. Right now he's probably the only player that I wouldn't want them to back up and collect more picks.

In coming a roster spot for Dino
They are paying Derek Watt $4 million, maybe Dino could get $2 million.

Maybe Dino will take over for Danny Smith or Matt Canada. Honestly, if you told me the Steelers hired Tomlin’s kid for a job, I wouldn’t be surprised. We are at that point.

This will be his first losing season, fans are dunking on him, and the media. We are in unchartered territory here.

Weren’t some of that owners annoyed with Rooney recently over Tomlin? I can’t imagine those feelings have improved after this circus year.

Though, I give it a 5% chance Tomlin is fired after this season. But at least there is a tiny chance. This is the first time fan boys and the national media have turned on him.
National media haven’t really turned on him though

As long as Rooney Tunes is here, this is the next head coach. Maybe it'll turn into a feel good Hallmark movie story 80 years from now.

At least we don’t have to watch the Steelers today. Today will be far less stressful. No frustration from Canada, Tomlin, Harris, Pickett, the defense.

So you wouldn’t pay a 2nd for TJ Watt or BigBen or Troy or AB or DeCastro or Cam Heyward or Minkah or Pickens or Timmons or etc.

What a ridiculous statement.
I wouldn’t trade for a Steeler Wr cause when they are ready to move on from them they are almost right. I am someone who wanted to extend Juju and liked the DJ extension but when Tomlin isn’t even going to the 2 dogs one bone between Claypool and DJ next year red flags
