Wide receiver is not a priority in this draft, if they are giving up on Pickett it needs to be a QB. If they are sticking with Pickett, Franchise LT is the priority. Either way they need multiple OL in this draft.

You're talking about 1 play, who cares? Yet in the past 3 years ive asked you what does Tomlin do on this team? Or hell what does he do FOR this team?

You never provided any answers and it still continues to go un answered.

I'll tell you the answer. He does absolutely nothing.

Edit: For a coach that preaches beat your man and defend blades of grass! I'm afraid I did answer your question on the play.
Im replying to YOUR post about his halftime comment which was directed to that play.

Can you not follow your own conversation?

What schematic adjustment should he have made when a guy is clearly tightly bracketed by two defenders. Unless you have an answer to that question, i will gladly take your avoidance and trying to widen the scope of this exchange as admission that you were once again talking out of your ass.

Amazing deal for Claypool. I didn't think they'd be able to squeeze out a 2nd. If the season ended right now they would pick 4, 36, and 42.

Surprised Rudolph is still here. I guess he really has no value.

You have no concerns about Pickett? Have you been watching the games?
Nope. I don't. I think the things that he's going through are a mix of poor OC and being a rookie. It's to be expected. He shows things that you cannot teach a QB. He has moxie. He stands in there to make throws. It will come.

The reporter asked if he was making adjustments to the defense in the 2nd half. Not that I don't think you're a moron or anything but If you think the question is based off of 1 play, it goes to show.

I could care less about 1 play. Every blind squirrel eventually makes a good call on the field.

Tomliyinzers are really losing their **** these days and its affecting brain activity.

Mr Corner Backs coach had 16 years to draft and develop a formidable secondary so that they don't embarrass themselves with deep plays.

Which secondary is ranked 3rd in the nfl interceptions and just 2 away from the leader. Good chance that number improves with a healthy kazee TJ joining the defense after the bye

Hmm that is an odd stat. I don't believe it'll stay that way since they are 23 ranked overall. Then again you have a point with TJ returning.

My point is it was never attempted to draft better talent in the secondary. So expect single Recievers to beat double coverage against this team.

Yeah that’s fair they never invested in CBs they have always been a pressure helps DBs it’s why guys like Sutton Wallace who are solid CB2 can stick here. They want to run the 3 safety defenses big nickel Buffalo runs. Buffalo has von Miller to hide their DBs

This secondary has dropped more interceptions that have smacked them right in the hands than they have tallied this year. They aren't great.

Tomlin is probably a friend so he'd probably get preferential treatment.

I posted this a couple pages ago. There is indeed a connection:

Here comes more cronyism:

Jackson played for then Bengals' DC Teryl Austin back in 2018. Together they set an NFL record giving up over 500 yards of total offense in 3 straight games.

They know each other well...if you will.

Ill make this simple so you can follow.

The Eagles scored 3 time before that interview.

Each time they score was a deep pass to AJ Brown.

Each time there was a DB on his hip in position with safety help over the top and each time someone failed to make a play on the ball.

You tell me what scheme adjustment fixes that. I would wait for the answer but we both know there isnt one.

Mike Tomlin could literally be the worst coach on the planet and this specific criticism would still be completely invalid. Congrats on somehow finding one thing that wasnt a problem.

Right...because it is all Jackson's fault that they gave up 500 yards....

Agreed. He hasn't played well. But he is a rookie, the only rookie on that chart. I'm gonna wait and see how he looks the rest of the season and then make a judgement.
