Unless Cifu tweets have been banned, it seems like they have wised up social media wise and to their credit the team has been spending near to the cap most seasons with them at the helm.
So, I have zero complaints about ownership. They seem like they learned from the 16-17 shitshow and stepped back and let their GM run the hockey side of the team, for better or worse.

It really deflating to see this team finally get a legit coach in Q, to find out about those skeletons, then get a surprising find in Brunette only to see the entire system get changed to Maurice's dump the puck on net and see what happens style.
I'm no expert, but to me it hard to believe in coincidences that almost every player that played well the past two years regressed and it wasn't due to the coach.

I've stuck through worse, so, still want to go to a few more games but yea, it's just a huge bummer to see what the team could of been had you know what never happened/addressed properly in Chi-town

The forwards are also supposed to help deeper inside our own zone. The years before you would see Barky regularly waltz in on a 1-on-1 on a defender, and more often than not beat them to create a big scoring chance or score highlight reel goals. Can't recall once that I have seen that this season

Yeah I should have said “the way the message was delivered”. They didn’t have friendly intentions that’s for sure, so it made people dig their heels in. Doesn’t change the fact that even assholes are right sometimes.

agree... But our talent level has been down this year... Last year we ran 4 lines... we could move guys around... This year we have 2 lines.

Everyone had them as a quaranteed playoff team and they are well behind the race right now and have been the entire season.

Anyone even suggesting they’d be in this position in the summer would have been laughed out of the hf.

& Jets have looked miles better after getting rid of Maurice, after underachieving with him for years.

They averaged 100 points per season under Maurice in his full seasons there and are on pace for 97 when the West is ass. Maurice isn't good but let's not act like the Jets are anything but mediocre. How are they looking miles better lol.

Their annoying fans can enjoy another 1st round exit.

Really happy we are winning and that’s all that matters at the end of the day. Do not care about the rankings of stats.

That being said, 10th in the NHL is arguably where this team should be, given the turnover from last year.
