I hate to say it but the Bruins look like the best team in the east so far.

Boston is build, at least till Chara retires, as a real Cup contender. Only thing needed to know was if Rask would be able to do what Thomas did. And when Chara retires, remains to be seen how complete Hamilton will become if they want to extend their greatness to more than 5 years. But they have the talent, grit and depth to be great for 5-10 years.

But especially this year....short calendar, most of their players played in Europe, they all know each other, Julien is a very good coach, for me they are clearly the favorite for the Cup.

Rask was actually the only question mark the Bruins have this year. If he plays Thomas style in his good years....Bruins will go very very far.

well it's not like anybody knows if it ever was on the table. but then again, the hindsight brigade can never be fully satisfied
