Man, I've hopped into two discussions about rap on Twitter the past week, and both times people who didn't agree with me told others not to listen to me because I'm 'the white man'.

They had no idea I've been listening to rap since 2000, and used to rap in the hood where I was the minority. I used to murder cyphers. Gained quite a bit of respect in those neighborhoods, and I'm a white dude from a working class suburb.

I just find it funny that on the streets people were incredibly accepting of me, but these young bloods on Twitter talk a lot of trash due to my race. Goes to show you that Twitter isn't real life, or maybe my opinion on rap has been saturated due to my race, haha.
