Bohrofen with another HR, double and a walk in 5 plate appearances. 2 games might be too small of a sample but his 2.029 OPS with Dunedin is really good.

Hopefully, the jays do the right thing with Manoah now and keep him down for a while and just let him work in stuff out of the spotlight. The little tweaks helped but he brought back too soon out of desperation. I think with Ryu looking decent this is going to be an extended visit for Manoah. I think barring injury he’s done in the show for the season

When watching his home runs in his early Jays career, it's always striking by the lack of attendance. It was common to get around 20,000 and under.

He obviously wasn't the sole reason but Jose played a big factor in 2015 and 2016 and after decades of being average, the Jays finally made the playoffs. I was too young for the World Series teams and I had to ensure the Ash teams and even the JP Riccardi teams. Only a few times would they get close to sniffing the playoffs.

Manoah needs a head guy for sure. Too many people telling him how powerful he was. His chest got sore beating it. Strange in baseball how a guy 165lbs can throw as fast and maybe quicker than a guy 235.
I get the sense the elevator does not reach the top floor.
Manoah is not 235 pounds. No way. He's got to be near 300.

Is Manoah being sent back to the minors a sign that he was brought back up too soon or simply a result of the schedule. Over the next 10 days, the Jays have 3 days so only 7 games. It does not make sense to use a six man rotation through that section - which means that Alek would likely not get a start. It's probably better for him go to Buffalo and get a start or two there to continue working on getting his stuff back.

I looked very quickly at the numbers Bautista and Carter. I think Carter was the better Jay :) They both had pretty good numbers as Jays.
Is this a joke? Carter's numbers are mediocre outside of RBI's. Bautista was a better hitter across the board AINEC.

I hope the Jays give Horowitz a chance next year. He might not be Belt in his prime, but he's probably capable of doing what Belt is doing this year (which is pretty darn good).

I noticed that too. How awful attendance was then. Jose and EE brought the excitement back to the jays.
