The more I sleep, the crappier I feel. The once-in-a-blue-moon I am so wiped I sleep 10 to 11 hours, I wake up with a headache and feeling sluggish throughout the day.

More than half the day sleeping? Couldn't fathom.

I'm the opposite. When I go 10+ hours, I feel like I can run a marathon. Less than 8 hours? Hit or miss whether I can somewhat contribute to society or I'm a useless zombie that needs a light nap mid-day

Kikuchi is living the dream lol

5 of the top 9 'hosed' players being Blue Jays indicates that there is some sort of ingrained ump bias issue. That seems beyond random.

Other than Espinal we’re talking about guys with like 98+ percentile chase rates. Have to imagine players that don’t bite on anything outside are going to have more pitches around the corners/slightly off the plate called strikes.

I think that the Jays depth is shining through. They have faced some injury issues late in the season. Some teams wouldn’t be able to handle losing the whole left side of the infield for as long as the Jays did. Of course, the pitching staff staying intact helps, but still. Biggio and Espi stepped up. Then guys like Horwitz, Schneider, and Clement also helped to keep the ship afloat. Lots of credit to those guys. If Vladdy now needs some time, Horwitz will be just fine in his place.

Also have Belt coming back as well.

Qualifying Offer value to land around 20.5

Should be interesting with Chapman…

I'm offering that all day everyday.

I'm pretty sure I've come to the conclusion I'm not signing him to a long term deal. The D is still amazing but the bat just hasn't been what we thought it could have been coming to Toronto from the Coliseum. But if he somehow accepts that QO I'll take one more year at 20.5 til we can figure out if we have something with Barger or someone in the system.

That said he's not accepting with the FA market as thin as it is.

Rays calling up a top prospect right before the Jays series

Rays got him from the Indians for nothing in an inconsequential trade years ago and now he is seen as a top 10 prospect in all of baseball on some lists.

Don’t trade prospects to the Rays.

Never trade with the Rays at all. Their vets fall off a cliff when they leave and they develop fringe prospects into stars.
