last 2 years of Shapkins have been very disappointing. I get Covid, but we should have had enough assets to make good deals and enough bank to sign players.
They spent the most money in team history and went into the tax I believe and made loads of moves in the off season. It just so happened that every bat on the team decided to regress massively from their projections. They literally checked off that full list of yours

Ya the last two years were pretty big favorites by the oddsmakers at the beginning of the season. Even by many pundits

NL WC race going to be interesting and go down to the wire. Prior to tonight, there was a 4 way tie for the last spot between the Diamondbacks, Giants, Marlins and Reds.

Mitch White was dominant yesterday:

5.1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 9 K

Fastball averaged 95.1 mph and hit 96.8 mph. He had 15 whiffs and an elite 38% CSW%.

He has been extremely good recently. I realize that people hate him, but if he's figured himself out then he's an MLB pitcher.

I was shocked no one claimed him. Perfect pitcher to go to a rebuilding team. You have nothing to lose. Maybe White makes them regret it.

Vancouver Canadians can win the NWL championship tonight if they take this game. And you can watch free on milb.tv right now. As i type it's 1-0 C's in the 2nd.

you'd be foolish not to want him to turn it around. There was promise there. Even if he's AAAA depth that was sorely lacking this year

  • Blue Jays reliever Adam Cimberwill start a Triple-A rehab assignment today, manager John Schneider told The Athletic’s Kaitlyn McGrath and other reporters. A pair of shoulder-related injuries have limited Cimber to 20 2/3 innings this season, and he hasn’t pitched due to June 18 due to an impingement in his right shoulder. This lengthy stint on the 60-day IL means that Cimber will need a few rehab games to ramp up, but he should be able to return to the Jays’ bullpen before the season is through. After posting a 2.53 ERA over 142 1/3 innings with the Marlins and Blue Jays in 2021, Cimber has only a 7.40 ERA this year, though his shoulder issues have likely contributed to those struggles.
