So what’s with the trend of MLB games starting around 6:10-6:40 local time? I see tonight there a bunch of games starting at 6:10 or 6:40 local time, including our game in Oakland.

I read somewhere that, at least in part, it is so people can get home earlier after games. Families with younger kids were mentioned as a factor.

Not sure how accurate.

At this point just reset him, get him in shape, ready him for the start of next year. Last season's success got to his head and he didn't work hard enough in the offseason.

Apparently he weighed in at 315lbs in camp, that's goddamn nuts! Learning experience for the young man.

Macko with another steller start.

Macko’s season comes down to one thing: Road HRs.

If you look at his home-road splits his stats are identical in;

Games
Innings
PAs
ABs
Hits
SB
CS
BBs
Ks
BB/K
Batting average
On base

The biggest difference;

Home HRs: 0
Road HRs: 7

As a result you have these splits;

Home ERA: 3.96
Road ERA: 6.17

Home ERs: 17
Road ERs: 29

Home SLG: .292
Road SLG: .415

He must have lost some weight in season as Matty Walker (Pete's bro) told us he was 40+ pounds overweight last month .. dude can't rotate properly on his pitches .. he needs to enlist help of a dietician 1st (probably 3-6 months needed to lose da weight) and then start pitching again hopefully by spring training

Do you have any idea the kind of fatassery that you have to get up to to gain 40lbs in 5 months? That's a serious red flag and I hope it scares him straight

A guy that size can probably lose 40 pounds in a month if he put his mind to it. Intermittent fasting would do it, if he has the discipline. Or just start taking Ozempic if he doesn't.
