Bohrofen is too good for A ball. 2 more HR today. He's played 5 games, he's 7 for 19, with 6 walks, a double AND 5 HOMERUNS. I'm already a huge fan. I'm making a bold prediction right now. This time next year he's a top 3 prospect for us, and probably a top 100 prospect league wide. 2 of Ricky, Orelvis, and Barger will be graduated. Nimmala and the other will be top 2. Bohrofen #3.

Tiedmann 3.2 IP, 5 K's, 1 walk, 3 hits(2 were infield singles). He left 2 guys on base with 2 outs when he was pulled. Fluharty let both guys score so Ricky gets an unlucky 2 ER

I just happened to be looking at the 2020 MLB.com draft rankings where Tiedemann ranked 92 entering that draft and noticed that Bohrofen was ranked just below him at 93. Neither got drafted that year, both got drafted by the Jays the next time they were eligible.

It’s gonna be a helluva battle with Seattle (again) down the stretch.

Their schedule features a lot of mediocre to terrible teams. Ugh.

Meanwhile we play a lot of AL East teams in September…

They’ll have b2b2b with Texas and Houston at the end of the year. With the Jays going up against the Rays twice at the end of the year, those series can potentially be vital to all 4 teams playoff aspirations.

Tampa’s got a pretty tough September and with no Franco now and a depleted rotation they could end up being the one to go.

The more stuff I see about Franco the worse it looks. I saw an article today saying that the more the investigation continues the more likely it is he never plays another game in the mlb. Not to take away from the severity of what is going on but just putting on the baseball fan hat for a sec. TB fans must be losing their minds. Imagine if that was Bo and we’d never get to see him play again. What a loss for that franchise.

It’s even worse then losing Bo. Bo has 2+ years left of control, Franco has 10+ years! They are losing one of the most valued assets in the game. Sucks for Tampa… :D Losing Bo would be like losing 8-10 WAR if he doesn’t re-sign. Losing Franco could be like losing a potential 50-60 WAR

If this is true, and it sounds like it is, it’s even worse then what Bauer did.

Our best bet is to catch the Rays. Surely with McClanahan done, the team in a spiral and Franco likely done for at least the season we should be able to make up ground. Not like our schedule is particularly hard.

Honestly might be one of the biggest wastes of Hall of fame talent ever in sports. This is like the Rays losing Bo’s bat if he also happened to be one of the best defensive players in baseball at a premium position.

Jays are getting Tampa and New York to end the year and both are far worse than their record indicates. It's pretty lucky timing to be honest.

Yea I tried to multi quote but it didn’t work. I only used Bo as the best comparable on our team and he’s not on that level. Absolute waste of a talent and he’s only 22. He’s lost himself potentially an incredible amount of money.
