A Habs win puts them 4-pts out of a wildcard spot…. that’s the parity of the Eastern Conference

Savard's healthy, Struble's playing well, MSL's found some good line combos with what we have, Ylonen is emerging (which so far helps the 4th line).

It's not looking good for the tank really. Unless there are injuries or trades I don't like our tanking propects.

I didn't want to say anything in the game thread, but after Caufield scored and Suzuki, Slaf, Ghule, and Barron all had a point, was half-hoping for 5 Isles goals next.

Yes it would be nice to add more talent through the draft. Though if me barely miss the playoffs without Dach and Newhook and we add Roy, Hutson, Reinbacher to our core moving forward. Things are not as bad as some people make it seem

Playing against playoff teams more will help even more. We're feasting on bad teams. Isles played a back to back and nearly came back. We are 9th last in point % and I have a hard time seeing us stay ahead of the Sens, Flames and Sabres.

If he starts scoring enough to be that much of a difference maker we might just have to keep him. I'm not too worried about his 40pts when we've got all kinds of other ways to sink this ship.

I would think the Sens, Oilers, Blues, Wild and Penguins would pass us.

Sabres, Flames, and Kraken could. But they're not good teams.

I get the feeling no matter how well Anderson, Dvo, and Armia play they won't be moveable.

But at leas Monahan and Barron picked up 2 points each on the Anderson goals. Good for their trade values.

Same shit like every other year. No elite talent, just play full of heart and get eliminated.

Honestly I like this team.... it's getting harder to cheers against them. Even all the veterans that everyone hates are really pushing hard and the kids are all progressing. I'm pretty sure they will fall off a cliff when teams start tightening up... but if they adjust and keep playing tight games I'm ok with it. This year has a been much better than I expected... so many of the young players are making steady progress despite tough challenges. There got a nice spirit going on.

Feels like we constantly get teams on back to backs. Then whenever we're on a back to back so is the other team.

We'll it's the Christmas road trip now, need 2-5 at best.

I want to see us add quality talent at the draft, but if this young squad plays well enough to push it into the mid-teens, it's still a net positive imo

Well that's silly. Lots of ppg players were picked outside the top 10, let alone top 5.

We probably have 1-2 future ppg players in house as it is.
