4th place would be such a beautiful thing - it is in sight…but sadly I know how this team plays, tooth and claw to get to OT. 4 out of 6 in Florida and vs hottest team in league shows us that there’s no point in predictions with their ‘hard schedule’
I’m guessing 7-8 at this point, especially with keeping Savard and losing tank commander Allen.

yeah but that's been their reality the entire season and last season as well. As posted above, they had a .295 pts% during the last 2 months of last year.
Last year, Suzuki has alone. We had Monahan, Caufield, Dach and Slaf injure. We are probably end up around 5-7 this year.

To be honest several of the guys they dumped are addition by subtraction. Okposo will probably retire this summer. Johnson was a literal anchor. I feel like Byram adds way more to their team than middlestadt.
Absolutely, he does.

The only reason the trade happens is because of the injury history.

4 games don't mean much but your telling us we should ignore the past 60+ games.

I mean seriously you claim our true talent is 68-70 points and the proof is the 58 points in 63 games which actually put us at just over 75 points? Like come on.
How am i ignoring the past 60 games? they were bad carried by great goaltending which has been coming back down to earth in the past 12 games. If 58 points in 63 games means we finish with 75+ points what does 56 points in 63 games mean? Yes they are a true talent 68-70 point team, they played at a 80 point pace for 44 games(half a season), then played at 56 point pace the next 19 and will continue to play at that pace for the rest of the season and up around 70 points (+/- 1~2 pts) since thats their talent level. Just like how Arizona played at a 90 pt pace for the SAME number of games habs were at an 80 pt pace but fell back down to a 40 pt pace afterwards. They too will end at around 70 pts since that's their true talent level.

Not much other than he is a reliable 2-way center who competes hard. Helenius is much more skilled and creative with the puck and I like his shot better. Better skater too.
That being said Lundell is a true center while right now I see Helenius rather as a winger in the NHL. He playz as a Winger for Jukurit most of the time.
