Ahhh that gets filed under "two things I didn't know." Makes more sense the, re. Strong and Dantonio.

Cutcliffe is intriguing. You're right about Duke, he's built that program amazingly well. Plus his old SEC connections don't hurt.

Strong did well as DC under Holtz in Holtz's first few years and he and his family were beloved in Columbia but given his record as a HC I'm not too interested. Dantonio maybe interests me because of how he's done at Michigan State on top of being an alumni but I feel more often than not the alumni angle gets overblown with regards to college coaching.

Didn't know ECU was playing today too.

I've decided Thursday games in Boone are a PITA. The only reason I'm going is because it's against GA Southern, who is our only real rival these days. It also puts the winner at the top of the admittedly weak conference.

There is a semi-regular at my bar in the airport who went to GSU (Class of 93 IIRC)

He was kidnapped and forced to move to Vancouver by a woman from there.

Hmm...what are the chances we play ECU in the AutoNation Cure Bowl in Orlando? Both teams should be (heavily?) favored the rest of the way. Would they match up two NC teams for a bowl in Florida?

Thinking on it, it'd also be pretty cool just for the fact, the universities are so close, maybe they could organize joint party buses or something. Now, *THAT*, would be fun.

Not only was his knee down, but there were at least a few illegal blocks during that play as well. But oh well.

I'm not saying it's right but couldn't the refs have deemed that the ball was not under control when the knee came down? It's bs but I can see them siding that way.
