Starting to rethink my decision of Michigan State being a playoff team. Sure they're undefeated but that was a game they should have put away.

Yep. They're just not that impressive against some pretty mediocre teams, and the way they won against Oregon was FAR more a sign of how Oregon has fallen in talent level post-Chip Kelly.

Tough loss for my boys this week, but it is what it is. Howard needs to cut this **** out about getting overhyped for these big games.

Wow first time Heels have won in Atlanta since 1997. They're 4-1 with wins over actual Power 5 teams.

Michigan with the trifecta of shutouts. Ummmm...Harbaugh can coach a little bit.

I remember a lot of LOLs on this board after the 7 point loss to Utah. But now, Utah is ranked #5 after blowing out Oregon (of course, now that I said that, Utah will lose tonight).

I still think MSU and Ohio State are better teams in the big 10, but I have to admit, Michigan is better than I thought they'd be. I expected it to be 2-3 years before they were respectable.

Still baffles me the Niners let him go last season, but whatever.

I don't think the Niners "let" him go, I think they pretty much forced him out. IMO, personalities like Harbaugh can wear on players over time. In college, where there is a fresh influx of players and no player is there for more than 4 years, it works well. In the pros though, it can get old and players are there for more than 4 years.

He's an intense guy and I could see how that would rub some guys the wrong way.

I don't even think it was the players in the context of Harbaugh-49ers. The coach and GM were pretty much not talking, not even saying hello in the hallway. Completely dysfunctional relationship.

Yeah, I mean I don't think they're a top 10 team at this point....but definitely a top 25 team and I had no illusions of being any good this year, or even next. It's a process, especially in college where you need "your players" in order to play the type of football you envision as the coach.

But what he's done so far...unbelievable.

I figured at best they would be a 6-7 win team. Maybe an appearance in that Detroit bowl, the one UNC and Rutgers played in last season.
