Wow, the Bruins do indeed fire Cassidy. Another big name on the coaching market. And that's exactly why it's silly to be upset that the Flyers haven't hired a coach yet.

As for Boston -- Bergeron, Marchand, and McAvoy are all injured and will miss the start of next season. They've got some aging players and are paying for some 1st round draft whiffs. Now they fire Cassidy.

They could very well be headed toward Flyers-of-the-last-two-seasons territory.
