Of course it is.

Did Robert Smith wear his pancake?

What is he, 78 years old?

He was in full regalia. This was about 1989. The excellent show, I took my southern belle girlfriend. All the way down she was complaining about having to go see "those weirdos in all black". We had second row seats, and by the time of the first encore she was climbing over the first row trying to grab Robert Smith's foot. She was stunned at how great it was.

The other show was terrible and boring.

Los Lobos on the other hand...
Man, as some of you may already know, I could talk about and listen to Tejano and Norteno music all day long......My ancestors are traditional German, who settled the great plains. The accordion and polka music was just something I grew up with. When I moved to Texas in the 80s and I discovered Flaco Jimenez and Ramon Ayala and some of the great music of south Texas/northern Mexico, it was amazing.

You simply have not lived until you've been to a big Mexican wedding with a live Tejano/Norteno band.....Nothing compares. My wife still loves it when I sing her Norteno songs in Spanish.....

Well, you bat .500. Par for the course.

How would you like to be a Morrissey fan? Jesus, what a dope. Probably posted previous, so forgive,

I proclaim again that this board needs a dirty old man emoji. ^

Master of the Obvious, my three favorite Cure tunes are "Boys Don't Cry," "In Between Days," and this pop gem,

I bet it's great.

I don't care for "multi culturalism," to put it mildly, but diversity is both important and a wonderful thing.

He certainly had a golden voice.

Though never a fan of CSN, I very much appreciated his work with the Byrd's.
sadness...and yes I know he had a big mouth and would piss off the others, but I believe they were like brothers after playing together for over 50 years. The music was so good.

This was close to the first time I saw KISS....before I was into Bee Gees, Peter Frampton etc....went to see KISS at the old Greensboro Coliseum.....had seats in the first row upper level.....after the first fireworks blast and hearing Strutter I was HOOKED!!! It was the Saturday before July 4th and in the 'olden' times stores were closed on Sunday and the following Monday for the Holiday....I had to wait THREE days before buying their music....

Good times....

from Stephen Stills ..
"Stephen Stills said in a statement, “I read a quote in this morning’s paper attributed to composer Gustav Mahler that stopped me for a moment: “Death has, on placid cat’s paws, entered the room.” I shoulda known something was up. David and I butted heads a lot over time, but they were mostly glancing blows, yet still left us numb skulls.I was happy to be at peace with him. He was without question a giant of a musician, and his harmonic sensibilities were nothing short of genius. The glue that held us together as our vocals soared, like Icarus, towards the sun. I am deeply saddened at his passing and shall miss him beyond measure.”
"

from Graham Nash....

"It is with a deep and profound sadness that I learned that my friend David Crosby has passed,” Graham Nash posted on Instagram. “I know people tend to focus on how volatile our relationship has been at times, but what has always mattered to David and me more than anything was the pure joy of the music we created together, the sound we discovered with one another, and the deep friendship we shared over all these many long years. David was fearless in life and in music. He leaves behind a tremendous void as far as sheer personality and talent in this world. He spoke his mind, his heart, and his passion through his beautiful music and leaves an incredible legacy. These are the things that matter most. My heart is truly with his wife, Jan, his son, Django, and all of the people he has touched in this world.”

This song shows off the wonderful harmonies of Crosby, Stills & Nash. (I think this was Croz with Graham)

It was a lovely song of it's time.

To the Last Whale..
