I watched Men in Black 3 for the first time and it was surprisingly good. Brolin did a magnificent job playing a younger Agent K.

I was never really into any DC Comics to begin with so the crapiness of the movies wasn't really a problem for me. I like the Batman movies but honestly I don't think I ever read more than a handful of comics (I thought Serious House on Serious Earth was like the coolest thing ever when I was younger but that's about as far is it goes). Maybe some Aquaman here and there and always Swamp Thing to this day, but outside of that none of their characters really interested me.

But yeah this guy really seems to suck.

This is what I was hoping for. It would be killer if they finally got it right - their characters are infinitely better than Marvel's.

That’s certainly a take. The only interesting group of characters they have is the Batman stable.

I would say their villains are infinitely more interesting but feel like, outside of Batman, their heroes leave a lot to be desired. That being said, i'd love to see them get a Green Lantern movie right followed by a Green Arrow movie and then a team-up. Martian Manhunter is another DC Hero I hope they get right when they eventually do a movie.

it was really cool seeing the “primitive Predator” equipment. They sort of Mary sue’d the main character but at least gave her a somewhat slow progression in talent, until it took a massive leap at the camp.

It’s not better than the OG, but I’d say it may be better than the rest.

Prey was excellent! Dan Trachtenberg is a master at creating and sustaining tension (See also: 10 Cloverfield Lane).

Yeah that and the other language being dubbed in their own language was odd.
