Im overly excited for this show. cant even express how much I love this game and after seeing some of the reviews I'm having trouble containing my excitement for this.
I've been trying to push this game on my friends who only play Call Of Duty since it's release. finally they will get to see what made the game so great

Next in line is Red Dead 2 lol

Yeah I'm really looking forward to seeing this. It will be interesting to see what they adapt from the video game and what they add that wasn't present previously.

Offhand, I would be interested in an adaptation of Bioshock or Dead Space. Supposedly John Carpenter had some interest in the latter.

Get the popcorns out! I dont mind the great reviews, but ive also tried to avoid reading them as i want to see it with as little spoilers and open mind as possible for someone who loved the games.

This goes good and next game adaptation ive been waiting for decades is Half-Life. Its not that deep, but also has so much potential to grow up the story. How many times has it been buried already..

Not sure I've ever been this excited for a TV show before. Been waiting a longg time for this one and have been following the news of it from the start. Seemed so far away and now it's here today. Insane how time flies. The games are amongst my favorite ever (yes, both of them).

Yeah I haven't actively read or watched any reviews. Just seen general positive impressions which is enough to make me excited to check it out for myself.
 
I don't know much about this TV series but I will watch this tonight instead of football.

Isn't the show basically going to be the story in the video game...

Hey, its not going to be 100% like the games. My guess is they’ll expand and modify some characters and make the timeline run in backflashes a bit, and thats already figuring that much as just saw one preview that said episode 3 is going to be ”a gamechanger”. So thats likely when we see the scene that basically kicks the game off?

So no, im not expecting to just rewatch the game but to experience it in a different format and theres ways to spoil it even if you know the main story beforehand :)

I’m gonna give this a watch.

Small hang up for me is; I don’t think either one of the main actors really look like their video game counterparts. If the show is good that won’t really matter though.
 
Getting reports of some issues early trying to watch this on HBO Max. They must be overwhelmed
