That's because the Jets s*** at developing young talent. And, btw no they are not worse, Pionk is a liability that costs the Jets wins, moving on from him is addition by subtraction.he is certainly cheaper. however he hasn't shown to be any better as of yet. multiple coaches now have 0 sustained trust in him. for the high rate of GA Jets allow when Pionk's on the ice, the jets are much worse w/ Heinola
There is a pretty long list of young talent the Jets have developed. That's because the Jets s*** at developing young talent. And, btw no they are not worse, Pionk is a liability that costs the Jets wins, moving on from him is addition by subtraction.
Heinola = Niku
Agreed I wouldn't put Heinola in the same category. Heinola is a much better prospect, though I'm still waiting to see if Chevy opens up a spot for him.Not exactly. Niku was a 7th rd pick and Heinola was a 1st.
If the Jets suck at developing talent, I'd say 25 teams in the NHL suck at it.That's because the Jets s*** at developing young talent. And, btw no they are not worse, Pionk is a liability that costs the Jets wins, moving on from him is addition by subtraction.
Roslovic too. He may not be a star or w/e but he’s an NHLer that’s in the lineup full time when not injured, I’d say that counts. Tanev was amazing here too. There is a pretty long list of young talent the Jets have developed.
Scheifele
Trouba
Helly
Morrissey
Lowry
Ehlers
Connor
Copp
Laine
Samberg
Perfetti
and a pretty long list of current prospects that have been developing very well.
They have drafted ok, but I don't think they contributed much on the development side, in fact most of these players fell short of what they should have been. There is a pretty long list of young talent the Jets have developed.

He won't play for the Moose, he'll be in the NHL either with the Jets or for another organization.Even if Heinola plays on theMoose this season, there will be a spot opening up after Dillon's departure after or during or before this season.
I am not sure about suck, i don't think they're really distinctly ahead of the pack. I would say they're middle of the pack perhaps a tad below? What are you basing this on?That's because the Jets s*** at developing young talent. And, btw no they are not worse, Pionk is a liability that costs the Jets wins, moving on from him is addition by subtraction.
Really hoping this catches on like Snerg did.then he shows up to camp and is the same size as Demerol
Yup the shitty development thing is a meme with no real factual basis. There is a pretty long list of young talent the Jets have developed.

190 lbs. for Heinola is hoping for a lot.Really interesting to see guys talking about Heinola's lack of size - if he's on the same progression as Morrissey... then he shows up to camp and is the same size as Demerol, Pionk, Schmidt, Jomo - around 190lbs
We are not heading into this year as a real contender... play Heinola for those first 40 games so you at least know if he can get his confidence back - we missed trading Stan at his most valuable and now there's likely almost no market for him - even if you're not a Heinola fan, you have to see the sense in seeing what he's worth or boosting his trade stock...
Jomo-Samberg
Dillon-Pionk
Heinola-DeMelo
Schmidt/Chisholm
See if Samberg can play his off-side... let Helle and Bross bail us out for the first 10-15 games during the learning curve
Stan traded, alt Pionk/Schmidt in PR, Chisholm I think you lose him, carry two D on your 23 man roster since you're probably trading Dillon at TD
Most sites have Heinola at 6’ or 6’1” and 180 -188.190 lbs. for Heinola is hoping for a lot.
I wouldn't be moving Sammy to the right side just yet. Give him another season or two on the left side at least.
both seem to have a problem actually defending at the NHL level! Not exactly. Niku was a 7th rd pick and Heinola was a 1st.
Ahh, so equals by lowest common denominator lol. Not disagreeing fwiw.both seem to have a problem actually defending at the NHL level!
Oh, I have seen 5' 11" 178 lbs. at capfriendly.Most sites have Heinola at 6’ or 6’1” and 180 -188.
I don’t think it’s a stretch at all that he starts this year at 190 or better.
Yes, who really knows who is closer to the truth or last updated.Oh, I have seen 5' 11" 178 lbs. at capfriendly.
Hockey db 5' 11" 178 lbs.
nhl.com has him as 6' 1" 185 lbs?
I guess some sites don't update as often as others do.

On a two way deal with 95k in the AHL….So, what does Chevy do with Stanley?
I'd offer him 1 x 775k.
