He’ll be Vaseliveskys back up next season

There is no way the Hawks are making the playoffs even if they had all those guys.

Dach is a bust, he's a non factor, Hagel doesn't move the needle with the garbage team KD assembled, and Cat does very little without Kane who dialed it in most of the year.

The point is, they have to hit on those draft picks.

I dont get why anyone would want Bowman. The 2nd half of his tenure was a complete disaster from standpoint of building hockey team

With a core of talent already in place by previous GM's. But I get your point

I guess one could claim that Bowman 1st round drafting is plus for most part producing NHL talent. But he traded most of them away on other hand before they even had chance to really establish themselves.

I can only imagine the reaction of some folks to Panthers' success if Q was still behind the bench. Q was never as good a coach as some Hawks' fans believed. Just sayin'.

Forsling is a perfect example of why it takes most Dmen a while to reach their potential. As a rookie, he looked like a guy who would pack it in and return to Europe to play an easier game.

I know some didn't like Forsling but I don't think that was so. He certainly was rushed but he had great smarts for Qs zone and clog the passing lanes style. I know it's not taking the body you would want to see, but he played a smart game. Plenty others like Kempny more when he played instead.
