Still can't believe we traded Trevor Daley for Rob Scuderi. I think Stan Bowman from post cup 2015 was way more awful than we remember. I barely remember a good trade.
I been saying it since then and been ridiculed for it all along the way, I was looked at as a crazy person and I am still looked at this way.

nice to see M Kempny return th=o the NHL with an Apple thus far in WASH's game tonight after a long recovery from injury

another one of stan's blunders

Not really. You weren't the only one to see that Daley was poorly managed from the start .... and that the incompetence continued when Stan gave him away, essentially.
Try not to be such a martyr. :)

I didn’t say I was the only one but def one of the few and definitely ridiculed for it by the obvious “positive” group, not you I would say you were mostly in agreement with me. And I am not a martyr I was right all along, now that it’s clear I gotta make it known that they were wrong this whole time, not to boast but because they still think I am wrong with my current takes but if history is any indication I was the one who knew what was happening before hindsight.

Daley sucked when he was here. No one claimed he was being misused. That’s bs 20/20 hindsight.

Daley sucked in Chicago mainly because of the way he was utilized.
The trade proved once again that Stan and Q were on different pages. And Q took a dislike to Daley immediately, reflected by the way he deployed him... and it wasn't long before he wanted out. That's how I saw it.

Q took a dislike to a few young players. Leddy was a big one. I seem to recall people not liking his handling of tuevo also.

Watching Forsling in the Panthers/Lightning game tonight. He's playing with Goudas who always keeps the ops honest - it helps Forsling's game immensely.

Q gave Leddy chance after chance and even played him heavy at times

It was his continued failure in playoff hockey that eventually made him not a part of Hawks future

As for TT Q loved him and used him in variety of roles. There was no mishandling of TT he was progressing well under Q when Bowman gave him away because of his terrible cap management

Never mishandled TT? The 2015 series against Anaheim says hi.
