He should still be a Blackhawk but he became another unaffordable core player because of Stan's cap mismanagement.

Saad and Panarin should have been both with the Hawks today and TT as well, Stan is one the stupidest humans on this planets let alone GM. Anyone with half a brain wouldn’t have traded TT or Panarin.

Boqvist has played like 1 good game this season and people are screaming again. He has been a healthy scratch couple times already.

If he continues to play like he did in the other day, sure then we can talk.

What are you even talking about. I always said Boqvist had a high ceiling and played in the nhl too young, but still did pretty well: there were things I loved and things and I didn’t like but overall it’s still a big piece.

Well I started the whole convo so I figured as much.

Boqvist doesn’t need to be Jones for it to be a bad trade and I started this conversation after he had a great game saying that “if he develops it makes a bad trade even worse” and then y’all start getting annoyed. It’s a f***ed deal & we pay him 9.5!!

I'm not shitting on either, but when others criticize and I think it's valid I respond.

I mean, Kirby has to show he can score and win draws. Point blank. That doesn't mean he never will, but it does mean he has to prove it. No excuses. Those are valid criticisms. I think the stuff that people said about Boqvist being a bad skater was ludicrous, but I do think that the criticism that he needed to hit the weight room was valid. Boqvist was always going to take a while so Idk what people didn't understand about that.

My thinking was this: if Byram was that good why wasn't he getting any consideration at 1OA?

I had a group of 4 that I was fine with the Hawks picking 3rd overall. Besides Dach and Byram, the other two were Zegras and Cozens. I didn't think there was any separation between them as prospects.

You absolutely said his skating was bad. It was pointed out to you that he often got caught being slow to read the play.
