Flavian beats my first time starter at 11-1.....He's becoming a must include in multi race bets at the spa.
Would love to see his ROI this meet.
This story has been percolating throughout the day, TVG is becoming Fanduel TV. Big news for the sport although I suspect ultimately there will be less racing on the actual cable network.
$1.95 per today's DRF. That figure is eighth best but that includes two jocks with two wins apiece.Flavian beats my first time starter at 11-1.....He's becoming a must include in multi race bets at the spa.

They’re going to have a full morning show with Kay Adams, so a lot of that early morning racing will almost definitely be exclusive to the app. I don’t think TVG has people on until 11am eastern so there is a lot of room to utilize that time.My initial impression is international racing will suffer but North America racing during the days and into the nights will remain the same. I haven't fully looked into it, however. Apps remain TVG from what I saw elsewhere.
I am in the midst of reading articles. I generally rely on live streams from track websites/simulcast facilities since that is a far superior product to TVG. However, many handicappers find TVG convenient and understandably so. I have never heard of Kay Adams, then again I don't follow the NFL.They’re going to have a full morning show with Kay Adams, so a lot of that early morning racing will almost definitely be exclusive to the app. I don’t think TVG has people on until 11am eastern so there is a lot of room to utilize that time.
NYRA never has dealt with TVG/Fanduel.... it's why Fox Sports exists but can TVG/Fanduel battle NBC Sports and Fox Sports because NBC already has lost Belmont to Fox, then we have the battle over Laurel vs. Pimlico for the Preakness and the top track in Maryland and then there's Churchill/Twin Spires. TVG/Fanduel is an extra charge on most cable systems even if a Comcast (XFINITY) or a Charter (Spectrum) even offer the channel/network.... personally, I'd like to see RTN be a linear channel offered as those ads are already played....NYRA can't do anything right so I'm not surprised to see them not working on an agreement with TVG/Fanduel TV.
I stream Saratoga live through my youtube app on the smart TV since my cable provider doesn't carry FS2 in HD. Beyond that stupidity having to change between SNY, FS1, and FS2 throughout the card is ridiculous.
Weather for Saratoga this Saturday appears to be cloudy with a very light chance of a shower. Maybe ideal racing weather for the Travers card which is arguably of one the two biggest racing days for New York. My estimate for handle today is $50 million.
