Still losing hope in this team.

yeah 2pts, great.

I dont see a way we win 4 7-game series with this level of hockey
What level of hockey?

The level of hockey where we controlled large portions of the game despite starting periods slowly and just beat the top team in the division?

Or the level of hockey where we had plenty of high danger chances that could have gone in on PP and some at even strength?

What level of hockey exactly are you looking for? No game is perfect, but lots of positives there.

I'll take a 7 game series with Igor at top of his game any day of the week. Thats the X factor. Need him there by the time playoffs come around. I like the Kids, I like our special teams ability to create (they gotta go in eventually, saving them to break open playoff games where special teams matter most).

I think there's a difference between having Igor steal a game here and there, than having to do it every damn game he plays. Because if he doesn't play lights out every.. single.. game.. we get run over. He's the only reason we won, but I fear we will burn him out of he keep having to let games rest on his shoulders all the time.

Chytil is becoming a heckuva player. Really impressed with this young man. Balls of steel too

Kakko with 2 goals in the last 3 games. He’s starting to find his groove offensively. Still a ways to go, but encouraging all around.

They keep saying Trouba is injured, and that might be true, but I feel like a lot of his mistakes are mental. I think he’s hurt Millers game this year too.

Glad they won, but NJ would take us in a 7 game series. They are far better than the Rangers. Hughes is impressive. His skating and puck control is on another level. Kakko and Laff are still busts. Chytil is more impressive. Chytil seems like a guy that would fit in with the Devils. Skates hard and fast and an underrated shot.
The Devils are good but they haven't done shit. Let them win a playoff round before you crown them.

@EdJovanovski , I must say. Kravtsov should be in Goodrows spot, even I've come around to it.

Not because of his draft status or age or anything, genuinely because he played well when he was in, fits better skill and style wise and didn't deserve to come out.

Still not a fan of his and don't think hes a part of the long term solution or will be as good as some believe, but him with Panarin and Zibanejad while Goodrow moves to 4th would make a much better lineup

Huge win. HUGE

I thought in the 3rd they played a lot like how they played near and during the playoffs last year. Patient, deliberate and walking the line of not being aggressive enough.

But they had to respect the Devils who are very fast and crafty. OT was a snooze fest until Heets snapped it home.

They hit the post and it WENT IN. A little fitting.

I thought Miller had one of his best games. Schneider was also sneaky good tonight. Igor is back folks. Sweetest win of the year regardless of it not being perfect.

Remember I said if the kids can score every 2 games? Chytil and Kakko both with their 6th goals.

My prophecy is happening.

Laf almost made me get up in my chair tonight. Blazing down the wing with speed, nice little self pass to himself to give him room, he could've taken the slot for a prime shot.... instead he passes it away for a turnover. It's like.. my god man. Take your destiny into your own f***ing hands sometime soon.

I feel bad for the Negative Nancys who bitch and moan after the team they supposedly root for win 4 in a row and beat one of the top 2 teams in the league.

I'm kidding. I don't feel bad for them. I enjoy their misery.
They just won 4 in a row and beat Vegas, Colorado, and NJ and some will continue to whine. It's just in their DNA.

Chytil has been their best forward at 5v5 all season. Apparently the Rangers development staff hasn't been able to ruin everyone just yet.

I don’t care what the charts say, they were down 2-0 and 3-1 to a better team and they found a way to win. That’s big and hopefully good for them going forward.

I love the player Chytil has become. He’s very assertive and not afraid to be the guy and just shoot the puck.

Still very disappointed with Gallant’s coaching decisions. This team is winning in spite of his myriad of bad decisions.
