Canucks fan here. CBJ has always been a team I rooted for. When all the expansion was happening in the late 90s, I immediately loved how the fan base was supporting the team even after many years of losing. You guys deserve it.

I've been looking for another team to root for for several years, but haven't really put that into motion.

With my beloved Canucks out, I'd now like to formally jump on the Columbus bandwagon, if that's alright.

And it's NOT because of the clinch, or the fans, or the logo... it's because of the cannons. ;)

Welcome aboard the bandwagon, and hop on the believe train! And yes, the cannons are f'in cool.

WE have the 7 spot. We win the next two, it's ours.

I don't see Philly losing to Carolina, but there's a slight crack in the door with Tampa Bay and Pittsburgh. They've owned the Pens this year, but Pittsburgh is due.

Due to take the night off, you mean? I'm sure they don't want to knock the Flyers down into 7th and have to face their demons in the first round.

In all seriousness... thank you, @GMScottHowson. For real.

Thank you Howson!

Congrats guys! Everyone loves an underdog!

The Flames have been helping the Jackets to make playoffs for 2 years in a row. Too bad it didn't work out las season, but I respect Calgary more than any other franchise now. Thank you, guys. Without you we still would have been waiting.

Now that we aren't in the same division I have no problem saying congrats and good luck, Jackets!

I remember talking to quite a few of you as the Howson era was winding down and things appeared to be in total disarray… nice turnaround, obviously a good move hiring your new GM.

looking forward to a Preds-Jackets SC Final some day… :yo:

Philly might be the easiest to win a series but I think it could be the most physical series(or tied with Boston). If they advance after playing Philly, could be banged up going into round 2.

Still can't believe it. Last week, we were all in a ****** mood after the Hawks game. The team over came that heart break. I remember the look on everyone's faces after the Hawks loss. Then the look of everyone's faces after last nights OT win. What a huge difference.

So, the Jackets clinch their second trip to the playoffs in a 67-minute regulation with a phantom goal scorer? Sounds about right.

Avs fan here! Congrats on playoffs guys! The Jackets have been one of my favorite teams for a couple years now.

Was a huge supporter of you guys down the stretch last year and it sucked that they missed by so little.

Great to see them get in this year. Will definitely be cheering for them in the East this season.

Quick question though. Are you guys automatically going to get the Penguins in the first round? Since they're number one in the Metro and your #4. Or can you guys potentially face Boston if you finish as wildcard #2?

In Dallas, which has always been one of those arenas that have odd/bad karma for us.

Flying Malholtra "distinct kicking motion" waved off goal.

Michael Peca slew footed, Dallas scores, Peca suspended for touching ref

James Neal concussing Dorsett and Dorsett sliding down the boards and rag dolling like he was shot

Also, Brassard fighting Neal and pretty much ruining his career with the CBJ.

Also, the one game I've been to there, we lost.

It seems like you guys really have it out for the Rangers which is a shame because I've been rooting for you guys since the trade. Oh well, maybe we'll meet in the playoffs and the feeling will become mutual. Congrats guys and enjoy it. If you guys could take out the Pens or Bruins though, that would be great.

Same here. Seems like Columbus fans hate Nash, which is fine and I would probably feel the same way. But I'm happy for Dubinsky and Anisimov, I like seeing former Rangers be successful. But, I do think a rivalry between the Rangers and Jackets is developing and a playoff series would be a lot of fun.

Congrats, guys.

Blackhawks fan here. Just wanted to offer my congratulations. Hope you guys make some noise in the playoffs. Marvelous job by your GM. Miss our budding rivalry and if you get the Red Wings do us a solid and knock them out. Best of luck, guys.

It's also the place where Jody Shelley checked a guy so hard it broke the dasher boards.
