The Canucks are quietly the only team to not win a game so far

I'm getting really curious about what Vancouver management is prepared to do.

Horvat, Boeser, Garland, Pearson, Schenn should be available, but will they consider moving Miller, Hughes, Pettersson, Demko?

This franchise is a bad look for the league.
Squandering great young talent.

I will probably say the samething to you once McDavid gets injured...you know karma
I never wished him harm…I just asked if it was his hurt feelings keeping him out day to day. I’d be hurt in the soul with the way things are going for the Canucks too.

I also could care less if you said the same thing to me. I don’t really believe a post on a hockey forum warrants the rage of the gods.

I think people are missing the point here.

Just imagine how horrible it will be for the team that eventually loses to the Canucks, that's the team I would be worried about.

Canuck fans embracing the tank for Bedard.

But we all know that’s not happening, this team will make a run and draft in the teens again.

It really is crazy that this whole streak began by giving up 2 goal leads in each of their first 4 games. That's just unreal.

Imagine if they had just closed out those games, they'd probably be near the top of the Pacific right now.

It's low key one of the most incredible stats I have ever seen.

Even if they only blow half those 2 goal leads, which would still be worrisome, they are still something like 2-3-2.

The season started with a steaming pile of crap, and it's just picking up further steam like an Avalanche.

It's definitely mental now. Losing 4 straight 2 goal leads is something no players in that locker had ever gone through, and it has to affect the psyche.

No doubt, but there is also a bit of luck involved. Some good luck in those first few games and they probably don't face this crisis of confidence. Of course a team with more mental fortitude will get past the bad breaks.
maybe they used up all their good luck getting the lead in the first place

No way.

But now: Yes.

Does anyone know, if any team started this badly(no wins 8 games) and made the playoffs? What was the highest regular season ranking?
They could definitely still challenge for the playoffs, especially considering their division. But they will need to go on a bit of a winning streak.
