I heard Friedman say only 2 teams have made the playoffs since 05/06 getting 2 points in their first 7 games.

The Wild in the bubble season and Washington back when the SE division was crap


Does not matter these days after the idiotic draft lottery changes. You would have at best around 18% to get him

Technically, the Wild didn't make the playoffs that year. The lost the "play-in" round (to the Canucks!) and weren't one of the 8 teams from the West in the bubble playoffs.

Which means only one team has done it in that time frame.

Amen. There didn't seem to be a shortage of preseason posts that the Canucks would be a force in the Pacific ..... and which has seemed to have resulted in a serious jinx.

They are like 4 points out of the playoffs with 73 games left. They had a bad start and some injuries, no reason they can’t go on a streak.
