I love angry Noel. MORE ANGRY NOEL=MORE WINS Guy is running a ANGRY BUS TO THE PLAYOFFS!

I'm happy he's not letting up on these guys. If they really want to make the playoffs they're best chance is through Washington...and they need to go on a streak to beat the devil for that to happen.

Keep it up boys. Stay hungry!

To what extent was Noel's p***** off demeanour in the press conference due to Buff's "lapse" on the tying goal?

Was at the game tonite and I filled my Depends in the last half of the third period. Typical Buff, plays like crap on D then scores the winning goal. Well 2 points is nothing to sneeze at so Ill take it.

Man what a crazy gut wrenching game at times. I thought for sure after that last Carolina goal it was over, and then Buff redeemed himself in OT.

Not really liking the way we closed out the last two games, but you can't help but feel good about another win, especially since Washington finally lost!

I am going to the Islander game on Saturday! What a huge game! I can't wait! GO JETS GO!

Buff also had his back to him. You have to get goalside on guys in front of the net.

I only started following hockey again when we got the Jets back last year and our D always front their man in front of the net. I assume it's because we don't want their guy to get an easy deflection off the shot, and if we are in front we can actually block the shots or passes to the front of the net. I also believe it's because players can't tie up the guys in front like they used to back in the day without getting a penalty.

Still when that puck got past Buff he tried to swipe at the puck instead of taking the guys stick and that's why Carolina got that last goal.

It was Buffs fault. He had his man but he never took the stick and his guy scored. You gotta lift the stick there.

Just got home from the game. Can finally take a deep breath. Fantastic entertainment, great win, but man were we lucky. That last Cane goal was 100% on Buff. For whatever reason with a 3 - 2 lead and less then 2 minutes to go, Buff decides to rush into the Carolina zone, got caught up ice, and the rest is history. Fortunately he redeemed himself in OT and he also was the most physical I have ever seen him play.

It sure seemed like nerves were getting to our D men. Bogo and Hainsey both struggled in our zone. Loved the game of LLW. Kudos also to Burmi and Wellwood who both looked solid.

I think a lot of it has to do with the terrible questions from the media...

"How big was it to win this game?"

When/if Slater-Antro return then Jokinen has to be the odd man out, he is all but useless. Has the guy picked up a rebound since January or has he even had a good game since then for that matter.

Stick a fork in Jokinen he's DONE!:shakehead

We are once again in control of our destiny. :handclap: 4 regulation or overtime wins and we are play-off bound. Shoot-out wins leaves Washington with an opening, explaining why sportsclubstats.com has us at only 99.9% if we win our last 4 games.

Am I the only one who thought Ladd pretty much made that pass off of Peters to Buff? His shot was such that it had a chance to go in but there was a better chance that the rebound would come out in front, which it did.

Definitely wasn't in the first. I lost track in the second with all the PP opportunities.

They started normally, but seemed to change it up mid-way in the first after all the penalties. Seemed to be a few different pairings as the first ended.

Wow, talk about another high blood pressure game.

Any ideas as to the rationale for going Hainsey-Buff and Clitty-Bogo in the 3rd? Didn't really make sense to me.

Seeing if Clitsome can play with Bogo for next year in case the negotiater walks this summer. I dunno, but I thought they looked pretty good out there. Happy with the win, but man Oli is useless out there and Wellwood wasn't far behind. The 2nd line should be Chevy's priority this summer.

It's starting to look like Clitsome's a keeper, along with Postma, Redmond, Kulda and Trouba I think both Hainsey and Stu are expendable. Heck even our little bantam sized D man might garner us a top 6 forward and I'd do that in a second, we win more without him anyway.

Facts are facts, believe what you want, as Truck pointed out the Jets winning % with Enstrom out of the line-up is well over .600 maybe closer to .640 now. Really tough to be oblivious to the truth.

I thought Postma played quite well tonight. He is looking more comfortable in our zone and is starting to look more confident and aggressive on the break outs.

I too am really liking Posty's game. He has good offensive instincts, and as long as he is average in our own zone, we have a good'r.

The waiver wire has been a bit a goldmine for Chevy and the organization. Clitsome is the best of the bunch.

24-14-4 (.619)

Enstrom has now missed exactly 1/3 of all Jets regular season games over two seasons.

It IS curious...
