That was a freaking GREAT ENDING! I am stoked. I would really like to see our defence and pavelec be able to hold down a lead tho, that's very troubling. but for now, WEEE!! in the words of Louis CK

I'm just relieved after the blown 3rd. I would have been seriously depressed if they hadn't come thru in OT.
But it's 5 in a row and the Caps lost, so it was a productive night.

I didn't think the jets were that bad in the third. They were working hard and getting chances. It's troubling that the canes managed to tie it but these games against teams that have nothing to lose are always a crapshoot.
Man...I just about popped a vessel when buff put the winner in! Awesome. Also really enjoyed seeing buff throwing his weight around. He was angry tonight.

Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like they should. They're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake!
When Carolina scored to tie it with a minute left, I cursed, pushed my seat back and left my computer for a couple minutes. Needed to take a break after that. Had to get something out of the oven anyways. Just as I came back, I see buff score the OT winner. 
So happy for this win, but the Jets are playing with fire giving up 2 two goal leads in the third period. If they have leads like this against the Islanders or the Capitals, they need to pull up their socks defensively. Those teams are better than both Tampa and Carolina and have much more to play for.
As for the late goal by Carolina, whose fault was it on the Jets' side of things? I was so mad at the time, I just got right up and didn't even bother watching the replay. Someone said Buff, but he appeared to be coming back around centre ice and had his man covered..unless he was the one in front of the net that let the Carolina player get free to score on the rebound. So was it a forward..defenseman..anyone?
