When Carolina scored to tie it with a minute left, I cursed, pushed my seat back and left my computer for a couple minutes. Needed to take a break after that. Had to get something out of the oven anyways. Just as I came back, I see buff score the OT winner.:handclap:

So happy for this win, but the Jets are playing with fire giving up 2 two goal leads in the third period. If they have leads like this against the Islanders or the Capitals, they need to pull up their socks defensively. Those teams are better than both Tampa and Carolina and have much more to play for.

As for the late goal by Carolina, whose fault was it on the Jets' side of things? I was so mad at the time, I just got right up and didn't even bother watching the replay. Someone said Buff, but he appeared to be coming back around centre ice and had his man covered..unless he was the one in front of the net that let the Carolina player get free to score on the rebound. So was it a forward..defenseman..anyone?:help:

It was Buffs fault. He had his man but he never took the stick and his guy scored. You gotta lift the stick there.

Wow, talk about another high blood pressure game.

Any ideas as to the rationale for going Hainsey-Buff and Clitty-Bogo in the 3rd? Didn't really make sense to me.

If Pav hadn't made that ridiculous save, we would all be talking about yet another "cross-crease to a wide open player with time enough to write the next Song of Ice and Fire novel" power-play goal against.

I believe those were the even strength pairings the whole game.

The Canes never had us, They never had their car!

Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like they should. They're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake!

I refuse to register any movie Vin Diesel has ever made where he didn't play Riddick.

One seconnd Carolina has the momentum with some good shifts in our zone. Then the next thing you know they take a dump and change everyone when the are getting pressured LOL. Great play by Laddand Buff. It was nice seeing Buff use his body again and some meaness to him. Hope that continues.

Your Mind
Buff has to watch the puck
If he doesn't he can't see a pass coming

At least if he is watching he has a chance to knock it down

Sort of damned if you do damned if you don't

To what extent was Noel's p***** off demeanour in the press conference due to Buff's "lapse" on the tying goal?
