Don't know. He talked smack all game long from the pick teams lobby to the 0.00 of the third. I always play as the Rangers online so first he was saying how I'm picking a bandwagon team and blah blah blah lucky 8 goals in the first 10 minutes of the game

He did not fancy stopping the cycle. Really conservative around the net so I was able to move the puck really well. It was fun but not challenging when It was 12-0 after 2

Lol bandwagon, every person I play is one of either two teams, Caps or Pens

That last sentence made me remember Mallrats. "Look at the score for Christ sake it's 12-2 half way through the 2nd. Breakfast comes and go Rene. Now Hartford the whale, they maybe beat Vancouver once or twice in a life time."

I wish more players cycled in NHL.

So, I started a new season of EHM, as GM of the Rangers. Starting with the '16-'17 season, of course.

Here's where we're at (edit: before playoffs start).

These are the end-of-season stats. Six 20-goal scorers, and Kreider with 30 goals. The Nash-Zibanejad-Buch line I ran all season, and they all ended up with 60+ points. Really slick stuff. Grabner still did really well, although not a 20-goal scorer.

Of note: No Rangers player made it into the Top 50 in scoring for the league. Lundqvist was 4th in SV%, 5th in GAA, and T-1st in W (after filtering out goalies with 10 or less GP). Nash was also playing for Team Canada in the World Cup before the season started, and he was a beast.

Eastern Conference standings. 51 win season, which is real nice. Rangers went up against the Pens in the ECQF due to being M2 and M3. Bruins were god-awful all season.

Playoffs - ECQF:

EDIT: FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Accidentally closed without saving. So no playoff game has been played yet. Still against Pens, but series hasn't begun.

I'm taking a break for the day. Will probably finish the playoffs tomorrow.

Doesn't EHM default to rolling autosaves? You might have an autosave from the last month end.

I stopped playing EHM because it turned all my RFAs into UFAs in the 1st year and completely screwed up my game after a full season.

It doesn't, or at least not to the length that I have it set at currently. And I checked. Sadly, I'll have to beat the Pens again, hopefully.

Fortunately, I made the save right at the end of the regular season, so I only have to skip forward a few days. Whole thing would take 5 minutes, tops.

It took longer to make that post than it did to go from regular season to ECSF

He had some glimmers last season but it was a medicore season and this year was a loss. Like to see him fully recovered and see what he can do. Won't play up to that contract but can see him still be an effective bottom 6 forward. Btw have you picked up the new FF? What do you think?

I haven't played a FF since 9, just not into the new ones. All of the reboots on Steam suck as well, so I'm basically left with just the classic carts or ROMs. Which is fine.

X is pretty good.

Yeah everyone says it, and I do believe it, just never really had the attachment. I struggled to finish 8, 9 was closer to 7 so I liked it better. X was closer to 8 and too far from pretty much everything else so I never really bothered.

I've only ever owned one FF game. It was a PS1 title with this dude who had a gun-sword lirl.

I had no idea what I was doing (because I was a dumb 5 year old who didn't understand RPG games).

If you refuse to get with the new stuff, it's going to alienate you from everything in the future.

15 is my favorite since X. Couldn't finish 12 or 13. Hell. Barely even started.

FFXII is a great game! FFX is my favorite video game of all time, but FFXII was excellent as well.

The weird thing is I wasn't a huge fan of FFXIII (like most), but I still often feel nostalgic about it, which is interesting. I really enjoyed the music, and the world, while limited from our perspective, was gorgeous.

Currently on Chapter 7 of FFXV. While I am enjoying it a lot, I made the mistake of following the games development (the first and last time I ever do that to such an extent), and it has really left a sour taste in my mouth. To see parts of what the game was and what it could have been drives me nuts when I play this version (although it's still good), and the amount of times SE flat out lied to its fans or scrapped things they had originally promised is astonishing. They are a truly awful video game developer that happens to own a very pivotal IP.

Ahh ok man, was not sure if you played the More recent ones. I like the classics and some of the new ones. 6 and 8 are probably my favorites.

I am loving 15 now, love you can listen to all the old soundtracks in the car. There is a lot of side quests and it seems to make me get off the story path very easily. X was up there on my list.

That would be Squall & his Gunblade from FF VIII.

Favorite character and game. Lol.

FF XIII and XIII-2 [never played lightning's return] were good games, but the video game troll Internet horde trashed it, and it snowballed from there.

I never played FF 11 or 14, they were those MMORPG's? I believe it was called. Never got into the on-line gaming. So those are the only FF I have never played. FF XII was good also. Introduced a totally different battle system, similar to FF XV where you see the enemies before facing them, but it's cool in XV where it's more hands on than just choosing a command. You control the main characters actions and have to hit the buttons to open certain combos kinda like a street fighter meets FF type of game, lol.

Favorite character and game. Lol.

You can also listen to them outside of the car with the MP3 player. I think it is available from the shop inside Regalia in chapter 3.

I've been playing FFTA2 for the 3DS in my spare time. FFT and FFX are my favorite FF games.

Agreed. FFX and FFT are up there for me. Especially FFT. I really liked the WOTL version they did for the PSP.

Good choice of game there :yo: :)

Did you offer everyone at least the qualifying offer ? I've not seen such issues reported, at least not in recent months.

Something about this made me laugh. People either say this when they want to pretend they don't know as much as they know b/c they view it as possibly uncool

Or

They mean it but they sound old.

I remember my dad talking about "Is that those Pokeman's?" Whipper snappers off my lawn grumble grumble.
