Won’t be surprised if Yzerman pulls out a move last minute, but I also think it makes total sense if nothing happens. We have depth, and we’re not so much of a contender that it makes sense to go all-in. No one traded so far is a more exciting add than Kane.

Why does it have to be all-in or nothing? Said it yesterday: In this ridiculous buyers market it would've been easy to make improvements.for more than reasonable cost. And if we should miss the playoffs, is it a given that Kane resigns? A mercurial offensive talent basically fell in our lap for nothing. That is when you push in some secondary assets to increase your chances.

I see at least 3 deals that would have made a lotta sense for us.

Ultimately... if the Wings don't have the puck, that's when Kostin is ostensibly most effective as a crash retrieval guy. We shouldn't be building around not having the puck. Berggren helps keep the puck.

This has to mean someone on the roster is being traded because we are already capped today on roster spots. Tomorrow we can have over the limit (if I'm not mistaken) but not today. Has to mean someone is out.

Kostin? Holl? Wouldn't make sense to bring up berggren if we trade holl, so it has to be a forward...Surprising, didn't realize that fabbri has 16 goals this year? He could probably be a big get for someone like in a buchnevich trade no?

Unfortunatley Christopher Robin wants us to take on an aging vet named Pooh who has became quite thick around the waist and has had multiple stints in the players assistance program this yr.
