Maybe JBB knows more than than the poster here. Point on LTIR for the regular season, another LTIR like Seabrook, Killorn trade, Foote trade for LHD etc.

LTIR doesn't mean anything unless they are missing the entire season (which they aren't) TB is already out of cap space with Seabrook on LTIR already.
So I thought they can use the LTIR space for a contract(s) but when Cirelli/Bogosian come back, Tampa has to get compliant. Maybe by then a deal is worked out to trade Killorn for something, etc. That would have to work out like clockwork but what internal options does Tampa really have?

TB is certainly in trouble, and after the past two off-seasons the phase one of the current core must feel pretty despondent about the teammates no longer here.

So to start the season, TB is down McDonagh, Rutta, and Bogosian on D (all with extensive to good playoff experience), to replace them with Cole, Myers, and Foote. Yeah and factor in Cernak's inevitable missed time at some point for some fractured bone. Cole, Myers, and Foote just got their icetime significantly increased.
