So whats happen with the list now that NHLers will not go, they must be allowed to change the list? Otherwise we are stuck with the players on the list.

this means rasmussen, mario kempe, dahlbeck, lööv etc and guys liket hat is gonna be on the team. players who are better not on the list.

thing is that the headcoach of u20 almost always goes to tre kronor. garpenlöv already have åkerblom and ragnarsson. monten is there to prepare for the future.

Pär Mårts, & Grönborg are the only ones who went from Junior kronorna -> Tre Kronor AFAIK. Montén was an assistant to Garpen last year too, btw.

I highly doubt Hallam doesn't get to choose his own assistants.

Omark has reportedly declined, Garpenlöv says all other players he’s talked to are interested.

I guess this implies both good news and bad news for Luleå, then. Good news for us, Omark will stay put. Worrying news, I guess Erik Gustafsson will want to go? They must have asked him, right? Plus I would think that Honka and Tyrväinen are close to making Team Finland, not sure about Sami Lepistö, though he’s been surprisingly good considering his age, a great addition for us.

I also think Wallstedt might be considered for a third string, watch and learn-role at the Olympics.

Bad news is I have no reason to watch Sweden’s games with Omark passing. Good news is, that’s only marginally less reason than next to none.

I have zero faith in Garpenlöv's roster building. Probably won't select Edvinsson, Eklund, Berggren or Holtz.

The result of the tournament is not important, the tournament in Tampere and Helsinki in May is more important. I would like to see 2-3 players under 24 on the roster. Edvinsson, Wallstedt and Holmberg, but I expect Garpenlöv to select a lot of KHL and NL players.

Monten as an assistant coach ... that's not good. But that doesn't mean it will continue after the end of Garpenlöv. I guess Hallam has his own ideas of who he chooses, and Monten won't. How much pressure can there actually be from the federation for Monten to get an assistant somewhere because he is a friend of the boys from the federation?
