Barzal with 2 goals and a helper tonight..........................that kid can ****in play.

Yes he can. It’s sad some aren’t giving the kid the respect or credit he deserves on his terrific season. He’s played outstanding all year and has had an incredible year. He’s earned every point.

He's unreal, how anyone could be negative on the guy is beyond me.

All anyone has to do is watch him for like 10 minutes of a period and it should be plainly obvious his talent is off the charts.

The isles for all their bad luck got VERY fortunate here...................this is a first overall talent in most drafts.

great game for Barzal last night. Beauvillier impressed as well. He may even get an invite. also Patrick seems to be coming around. a candidate for next year's team.

Beauvillier was on my list of players to watch, he's a nice buzzsaw in the offensive zone. Would look good in a fourth line wing spot.

I'm thinking of a Beauvillier-Barzal-Konecny 3rd. line (once the Flyers get dumped in the 1st. rd.) all 97s and all 3 buzzsaws. I think that line would be difficult to contain.

a little off topic, but you didn't happen to see the Rimouski v Moncton game last night? just curious as to how Lafreniere looks and if he's good to go for the U18 team.

Dave Lowry wouldn't think so. Konecny is definitely someone I have my eye on for after the first round. I would be pleased to see his whole line reunited from last year, especially if they can do more in the elimination games.

No idea.

Beauviller would be a great choice to play tgoo, I really like that Konecny-Barzal-Beauviller line you proposed also, could work very well.

Barzals a treat, you watch an Islanders game and he just leaps off the T.V screen at you, his play just forces you to watch him almost exclusively. He has real command of the puck and what I love about his game so much are his zone entries, his skating, smarts and shiftiness with the puck make it literally almost impossible for the opposition to prevent him from gaining the offensive zone and once he is in he is slippery as an eel and he knows what the hell to do with the puck once he is in there, covering him is one hard nights work for the opposing team, defenders must already despise the guy.
