Your avatar pic is amazingDo you guys think Bo Horvat would be good enough to get the call up? More of a defensive centre than an offensive one, I suppose, but good on draws and special teams.

Thanks fam, made it myself in photoshop. Really sums up Jim's overall plan to sink us to 30th in the league year after year,.

How do you know what he is thinking?... It's simply something that was probably part of the consideration of going not the main reason. I didn't say that... Just that it was likely part of it.That isn't certain at all. Perry never mentioned it when he agreed to play in the tournament based on what I saw (he mentioned wanting to represent Canada while he still could and not wanting to say no too often), and I certainly hope that he isn't stupid enough to buy into such a ridiculous "achievement". When it was over he seemed pretty non-chalant about it when asked, though he was obviously happy as the captain of the winning team. Matt Duchene is the only Canadian player I have ever heard bring up the triple gold, every other time it is a media (usually IIHF) person who asks them about it. If Perry wanted to win the World Championship that is reasonable. Wanting to win it more because he had already won two far more prestigious championships makes no sense.

Hutton good goalie? This is a rough list of somewhat realistic players I would like Hockey Canada to go after among the teams that will miss the playoffs. Some of them have issues, as noted below.
Teams that missed the playoffs
Florida: Ekblad, Huberdeau, Matheson,
Carolina: Skinner
Rangers: Nah
Islanders: Barzal, Bailey, Eberle, Beauvillier
Detroit: Mantha (RFA)
Montreal: Drouin
Ottawa: Stone (RFA, recent injury), Hoffman, Duchenne (has played 1000001 times already), Chabot
Buffalo: O’Reilly (has played 1000000 times already), Reinhart (RFA)
Dallas: Benn, Seguin
Calgary: Hamilton, Brodie, Giordano, Monahan (might be injured), Smith
Chicago: Toews, Keith (only for experience, he’s been bad this year)
Edmonton: McDavid, Nugent-Hopkins, Nurse (RFA)
Vancouver: Horvat, Tanev (recently returned from injury)
Arizona: Domi (RFA), Kuemper
West playoff race
Colorado/St. Louis/LA: MacKinnon, Barrie, Schwartz, Parayko, Toffoli, Muzzin, Hutton/Allen
As usual forward spots should be the easiest to fill. A few fist round matchups are interesting as well. If Philadelphia is eliminated it could benefit this team, and the looming Tampa Bay-Toronto matchup should free up some good young players. San Jose losing could be huge for the defence.
Agree.Duchene has played a hundred times, he has earned a break.
if San Jose losing Vlasic probably accept invite. Burns can accept invite too.
Hutton good goalie?

Why Drouin sucks would pull them downDrouin-McDavid-MacKinnon - looks awesome
Drouin very talanted player. Why Drouin sucks would pull them down
Chabot would be an interesting guy though I really haven't followed how his development has been coming along this year, the few sens games I've watched he was pretty good but you could tell he is still finding his way and is a little raw still but there is certainly no denying that talent he has.
Anyone more knowledgeable about his game this year with thoughts on him going to this thing?
