Interesting additions. Eberle is pretty much always good internationally and Barzal is a great add. I don't know about Pulock. He has a very good shot and brings good size, but he isn't a particularly good skater and his defensive game, from what I've seen, is a work in progress. Seems redundant if Canada can get Ekblad. At least he's young though.

I wonder if Eberle and Nugent-Hopkins going will have any impact on Hall should he become available.

Pulock over the last 40 games has shown a great ability to puck handle through traffic, but his defensive game needs work. I wonder if they will use him on the PP(something which I question why the Islanders haven't tried him on the first unit given our team has nothing to lose at this point)

still early, but it looks as though current Calgary players are living up to the best of Jerome Iginla standards. as usual I'm not expecting any of them to answer their phones next week.

And for those not in the know, it wouldn't so much be Pulock at the point, but on the mid boards like Ovechkin. The similarity in their play there is uncanny.

Klefboom made a mistake, this is sensitive theme untill NHL is still going on .. i remeber last year when Kane said something like that too early and there was a lot of critics on his person and then he didn t go .. i m afraid that CMD doesnt come ..

I'm more optimistic when I listen to him speaking. Can't wait for the end of the RS.

I understand where Reinhart is coming from. It's unfortunate because he did have a pretty solid year and is pretty underrated. I would have gladly taken Reinhart on the team.

Regarding McDavid, I am optimistic. I can understand the captain of the team not wanting to announce that he is coming before the season is over. If he was waiting to see the coaching staff then I can't imagine that Peters being put in is a bad thing given their successful tournament in 2016.
