WC: Team Canada Roster Helsinki-Tampere 2022

Looks like my wish for a quick end to the TML-TB series isn't going to happen. whoever exits it will probably be already too late for any meaningful additions to Team Canada. That sucks.

Update on the parallel tournament the Russians are having. I read an article yesterday on a Russian website that it's just going to be Russia and Belarus. No reps for the N. Koreans unfortunately. Russia probably didn't want to tackle them without a more complete roster of their A-listers. But I'm just surmising. who knows.

Game 7 is scheduled at the 14th of May.

Even if the series goes full distance, they could be with the team for game 3 against Slovakia.

Quarterfinals begin on the 26th, I don't see a problem there. Group A is so easy, I guess Canada beats Italy and Kasachstan without those additions..

After the ban on NT Russia, I don’t want to watch IIHF WORLDS and have zero interest. I only watch the NHL and cheer for Kaprizov)

I very love Canadian hockey and your players. You are the fathers of hockey. I Always cheer for NT Canada except for matches against Russia)

I am very pleased that at this difficult time, ours Russian players are playing very well in the NHL. They glory Russian sport and russian culture in North America .

Dubois has been a mixed bag internationally but he's a good get for this level. Adam Lowry is at least not the worst Lowry to be associated with team Canada.

Nice! Matty B....Well done, my boy, well done.

Didn't have a great year...but I'm hopeful he lights up this tourney. It would be nice if he can get some Islander teammates to join the party.
