Looks better than the last year's squad to me, and given that last year they won...
They are probably waiting for 2-3 guys (at least one D and one F) from the SC 1st round, since right now they have just 6 D and 12 F.

I don't think this is because of the war. They surely know there is no real danger of war in Finland now. Many guys are just tired after the season, as usual.

Well both North American teams lack star players , lets say it was the Olympics that was moved until now, they was not tired. Canada have at least 4 spots open. I understand injured-UFA or older who have 2-3 kids etc , but you never listen that when its Olympics or World cup
